contact lenses or glasses?

when in school or at home, i wear glasses, on gmik nights, i wear contact lenses (colored or just tinted), either way, which do u prefer? and which one is more cool?

i prefer contact lenses, theyre more comfortable than glasses. i only wear glasses at home or when my contact lenses are "punit".

I prefer contact lenses, the disposable ones. Its easier to clean.

I don't really like wearing glasses because my eyes are 700+ near-sighted so mukhang may magnifying glass ako sa mukha when I wear glasses :lol: I only use glasses when I'm feeling nerdy or when my eyes heurt a lot na.

Contacts are great when you're going out, or maybe when playing basketball.:socool: If you're just at home, or if your eyes are kind of irritated, wear your good old glasses.:nerdy:

thanks bugsbunny, wicca and the rock. sometimes i use my glasses to look old enough. im 22 and some new friends says that i look 19 daw. whats bad naman with contacts, minsan nakakatamad alisin. thank God, there's extended wear...

Wearing glasses are also good for a change of image every now and then. Kunwari, sanay ang mga kaibigan mong naka-contacts ka, then you suddenly show up with glasses one day.:wow: It's something to throw them off their usual routine with you, or you could do the reverse.

In The Rock's case, it's like growing a goatee too. Minsan, clean shaven, minsan, mukhang kambing.:goon:

i used to wear neither though i'm supposed to. (mababa lang naman grado, 150). but when i tried out disposable lenses, ok naman pala. it's funny coz i realized the world is much clearer than i thought it was, hehehe. so i wear contacts now whenever i'm out, and i wear glasses at home. ayoko na ng lisa loeb look.

Kung gusto kong magpa-cute, I used contacts. If by myself, glasses lang. I recently had laser eye surgery, so goodbye to glasses and contacts! Ngayon, always cute na ako!

i like wearing contacts when i go out for gimiks or maybe to the mall. i feel i look nerdy with glasses on kase. it's more comfortable to wear contacts when ur hitting the mall, going to a party, or when ur out on a gimik. only downside to this is, nakakatamad mag-alis sa gabi most especially when u get home super late :redsmile:

i think basically, when im in the office, it's still glasses that i prefer coz ur eyes are tired already during the end of the day. no sense getting them more stressed by wearing contacts for more than 10 hours a day.

i agree LadyMarmalade, lalo na sa mall, if ure wearing ur glasses then u have to fit clothes, it makes shopping less fun!

oo noh, super hassle...aalisin mo glasses mo tapos u wouldn't know where to appropriately put it while ur changing.

Katamad maglinis ng contacts. I switched to disposables, wore them for the whole day and took them off when I get home (even when you can wear two weeks straight). I also used the all-in-one solution para wala nang scrubbing, just rinse and store.

:) I use either , It depends on my mood...I have 4 pairs of
cool glasses 2 of them are tinted also have tinted contact lenses...Actually, wearing glasses is quite popular here specially if the frame is retro in design with either red, yellow, or light blue tint....:cool::lol:

i'm so used to them, i can even go on an overnight gimmick without taking them off. pero hanggang one night lang, i have to take them off when i arrive the next morning. :redsmile:

The grade of my eyes is extraordinarily high that's why I opt to wear my contacts most of the time. I like it better because even if my eyes move to the sides, I can still see clear unlike with glasses, it's only clear when you look ahead.

But I let my eyes "breathe" every night when I get home. :)

Btw, it's a necessity for me so I just use clear ones and don't really like the colored ones.

Hi, I am going to the Phil for a short visit (8 days). I would like to buy a coloured contact lenses while I am there, how much will it cost me? I like the one that last for a year or so. Also I am thinking of buying glasses with extra thin lenses and flexible handles, is that available there now? anyone knows, please let me know where to get them, how much and how long it will take to make(I have only 8 days) thanks guys.
