T. LeClerc is the best brand for Pressed and Loose powder. I only wish i can afford them but their pressed powder here in NYC cost $45!! buti pa dyan sa Manila, it's like PhP 1,500. I also like their blushes. Their powders are very fine and elegant. it's a terrific brand if u want precision powder coverage.

The only products I have from LeClerc are their pressed powder in banane and lipgloss. The pressed powder is really nice (the packaging is great too btw) and for the price of P1300, i would say that it's worth it coz the texture is really fine and it lasts for a loooong time. But as for their lipgloss, I didn't like it that much. And for the price of Php650, I'd rather buy Chanel's Glossimer or MAC lacquer/lipglass :)

A friend of mine who works as a make-up artist for Chanel in the US was the one who told me about this brand. And its a lot cheaper here than in the US nga daw. She bought two while visiting the Philippines. Basta, she was raving about it.

I got one about a year ago, and I love the way it feels on my skin. Sayang lang 'cause I never had the need for a face powder so I rarely use one... just when I need to have my picture taken or something like that.

pepita-i actually got two compacts though i wouldn't want to rely on it for everyday use since i don't go to Paris that often :rotflmao: as for asking my mother to buy me t. leclerc, she actually forgot to get me those things so i guess that was a pointless endeavor.

My MAC is about to run out and I will be needing a replacement soon. T. Le Clerc is one of my options. But I haven't really visited their spot in Rustan's. I wonder if it covers well since it's more like pressed powder, as opposed to MAC's studio fix. Your insights girls?

Well, i use Studiofix AND LeClerc. I apply Studiofix every morning and use LeClerc throughout the day, for touch-ups. Studiofix has a heavier coverage compared to LeClerc which looks almost sheer on me. I use banane, by the way. There are days though when i just use LeClerc and skip the Studiofix! :) It really depends on the kind of coverage you want to achieve - for a light to medium coverage - go for LeClerc. For a heavier coverage - go for MAC :*)

I've tried MAC and I'm just starting to use Le Clerc. I must say that I regret that I didn't heed PePs' advice earlier. :) Ganda ng Le Clerc! Sheer coverage sya, tapos napaka natural ng finish!

I agree with novalee that for heavier coverage, use MAC.

One thing to consider though is to go for the yellow based shades if you want to balance the redness in your skin, so your skin looks more even.

They have good sales people over at the LeClerc counter in Rustan's and I'm sure they can help you get the best shade for your skin.

thanks....:)

i love T. LeClerc's foundation! it looks so natural and feels like 2nd skin :beam: i have the typical yellowish-oriental skin type, and surprisingly T. LeClerc works better for me than those specifically made for asian skin like shiseido or kanebo. after lotsa attempts w/ diff. pressed powders (clinique unfortunately doesn't look good on me, parang blotchy minsan. :P) , i'm sticking w/ T. LeClerc's miel :)

I have T.leclerc pressed powder in banane, but I find the coverage very sheer or light. I cannot use it on the days when my skin looks blotchy.

Everafter: It's infront of Clarins and right between L'occitane and the counter/cashier.

But, I would suggest you go to Makati if you are going to buy Le Clerc for the first time. The sales rep at Shangrila Rustan's isn't that knowledgeable re: which color would fit you best. She was trying to sell me banane when it was very obvious that hindi bagay sa akin ang yellow tone/base.
