Okay, first of all, no BASHING please. Just observations, opinions backed up with something.

Second, Yoshi, I tried to search for "gabby" and "eigenman" pero walang lumabas so I started this thread.

I just have one question. WHY is GMA-7 pushing this guy? I am currently watching SOP. He has already sang two songs today, which he both ruined. The other song was saved because he was singing with Ogie Alcaside. The second one was saved because he was singing with Pido with Take One. This isn't the first time this happened, I've seen him sing a lot of songs and well, you will surely wish for improvement. For rapping, I'll leave that to KC Montero if you ask me.

If there's anyone here from GMA, please, please explain. I just wanna know why. In my opinion, he is not a talented singer. At all. And there are better actors, rappers, than him. I want to know if the GMA people think otherwise. Lumalabas tuloy, parang pilit. I can understand them pushing Angelika, she can act, she can sing, she can dance.

I would understand his role in "Ikaw Lang Ang Mamahalin" - bagay sa kanya. But he just always gives you the feeling that he's trying hard when he acts. A good actor does not give you the feeling that he's just acting.

I apologize to the Gabby Eigenman fans, but I really just don't understand why they're doing everything to 'push' this guy.

i don't get it either. i think it concerns social strata politics hehe. parang yung sa that's dati tsaka yung iba pang talent center, yung iba natatanggap lang sa showbiz dahil anak ng mayaman or merong connection sa showbiz people. hirap laging ganyan sa showbiz natin. acting profession should not be limited to those who are rich, famous and good looking people. acting is supposed to be both passion and intricate discipline to be carefully studied.

i see Caramba's point. para kasing wala naman talaga siyang passion for it and it looks like he's not entertaining people, instead, he just wants to please himself. Hindi lang si Gabby. There are a lot of personalities like him na di mo makikita yung professionalism as an artist.

yeee, with all due respect, I think that a real singer should be able to sing well live. A real singer should not only rely on engineering to make the voice nice. Of course he will sound good in an album. I understand you when you say he "can" sing. A lot of the actors and actresses "can" sing, but they're not being 'pushed' as singers.

And I don't believe that he only seems not to sing well because he sings with good singers already. Several times, out of tune siya. That's what I meant.

yes i know that for sure caramba, but don't you think he's sooo fresh as a "dubbing singer" to actually sing na ganun ka galing, your regine now is way far than the regine before, we can take for example karryl, zsa zsa's daughter, she started the same way with gabby, she was given enough boost and exposure kaya kahit papaano, she improved. As for gabby igenmann's case naman, the kid has a potential voice, mali nga lang ang mga peices na pinakakanta sa kanya. focus on pieces that he likes and can sing, just like Kc concentrating on rap.

You have to remember na rin caramba that S.O.P just serves as a training ground for them, its too early to judge the outcome of their potentials, these are dubbing artists, and they ough to be given a chance.

Another example of singers you wouldnt like to hear before is gretchen barretto, these same boo's were thrown to her. Listen to her singing now, BIG DIFFERENCE, it is because she was given a chance to hone her early potential as a singer.

And do you know that Lee Robin Salazar is singing? Didn't you predict or even come to accept that this dancer can sing? He was given a chance to act out his versatility, and that comes with a little singing before, critiqued the same way pero try to listen to his songs, ok naman , he could be a singer.

These people may have the pretty face, gabby eigennman maybe your typical next door guy, but he sure can follow a tune, and a good singer is one singer who could at least follow a tune caramba, hindi lang dahil magaling ka mag overall perform kunghindi you could at least follow a tune.

He wouldn't be singing anyway if he didn't feel like it.

I would still have to disagree. There are a lot of 'new' singers out there who can sing. We know they're new, and that they need training still, but you can already see the potential. I guess our difference is that you see potential in him, and I don't. :)

He has absolutely no talent:
1. Doesn't know how to host, misplaced energy. Ang nipis ng boses walang "dating".
2. Doesn't know how to sing or rap. Need I go into details? Kung sa hosting palang ang nipis na ng boses ano pa kaya sa kantahan.

There was one who posted that he/she prefers Carlos over this dude...Carlos, for all his pa-cuteness knows how to rap, sing and dance. Maganda pa katawan niya at may itsura, pero naman naman naman tong Gabby Eigk;akdhg&*5$, maputi lang siya't galing sa showbiz na pamilya...please GMA please hear your viewers out...ditch him...
