Welcome to our second Enchanted Kingdom promo!

Before you can post a message, you will be brought to a page with a form that will ask for the ff: name, contact number, email address. You can then post your answer to the question.

A separate page will be provided by PinoyExchange for reference. All the rides will be included in that page.

The contest will start on May 30 and will end on June 22. Fifteen (15) winners will be picked and announced on June 22. Each winner is entitled to two (2) Enchanted Kingdom tickets which are valid until November 5, 2001.


Rules

1) PinoyExchange administrators, moderators, and employees are not allowed to join the contest. Only PinoyExchange members may join. Only those who are willing to pick up the prize at the PinoyExchange office in Makati should join.

2) The reply should be relevant to the thread. It should answer the question posted and it should follow directions. All other replies will be disqualified.

3) Everyone who will join the contest will be asked to submit their real name, email address, and contact numbers. These will be used to contact the winner of the contest.

4) Members may post as many messages as they want. Each post is entitled to one number. However, no duplications of answers for each member allowed.

5) Winners may win only once.

6) The winners will be notified by email. If the winner does not reply within two (2) weeks after the email is sent, the prizes will be forfeited.

Rio Grande Rapids! It's their newest ride, and it's not *too* exciting. I don't like riding roller coasters and stuff, but this ride is pretty simple. And I like it 'cause you'll surely have fun with your friends - you'll end up freaking out to avoid the water. :)

Space Shuttle is the ride for me....

You can feel the adrenaline rush flowing through you whenever you ride this awesome thing. Yung pa-forward niya, ok na e, lalo na yung reverse...disoriented ka pagkatapos....pero sarap pa rin!

For me, it has to be the Space Shuttle.

I particularly like the way the feelings of elation and fear would mix together when you entrust yourself to the ride's harness and blast away. This experience couldn't possibly be equaled by other rides, and that is the reason why this one is my favourite. :)

For me, this ride is best experienced by not holding on to the handles and just letting your arms fly free. :teehee:

i've ridden almost every ride at EK and i would always go to space shuttle or log jam but my favorite ride would be roller skaters. this may sound wimpy but hey, i've always enjoyed this ride. it's very carefree, nobody gets nauseous, the line is always short and i can really raise my arms freely :bungi:. and THIS is the only ride my mom enjoyed (actually she's only ridden 2 rides - the other one is log jam). see, even the oldies enjoy this ride. :)

Super enjoy yung Rio Grande Rapids.

The first time I took that ride (during the EK EB), I ended up totally drenched. But it was a thrilling ride and one that I would love to take over and over again with my friends.

my favorite EK ride would be the Achor's Away. Hindi siya nakakasawa, especially when you're seated sa end tapos you can see the faces nung mga tao sa other side. They look so funny. You also get a good view ng enchanted pag nasa taas ka.

this ride thrills and excites me like no other.
it never fails to give me goosebumps. :D
and unlike the space shuttle, it doesn't give me a backache which i have to endure for at least a week!

As much as I like the Space Shuttle, I'd have to go with the Flying Fiesta. Why? Well, there's always the fear of the chain connecting the seat to the ride breaking off to send you flying through the air and fatally crashing you on Rialto. :lol:

Hands down, i'd go for Rio Grande Rapids! There's no chance you won't get wet after passing by all the falls and the turbulent "waves" in that attraction! No wonder why people keep queueing there...for me, it's like refreshing yourself after a sweltering hot time on the other rides (like what I experienced in the EK EB).

SPACE SHUTTLE - THRILLER RIDE!!!

Believe me.. i have tried Disneyland's newest theme park - California Adventure. They have this super awesome coaster ride called CALIFORNIA SCREAMIN'... awesome. But the a.rush you get there is not as much as what you get when you take Space Shuttle.

Here's the comparison:

California Screamin' - it owuld get you the jitters just looking at the ride. but when you're in and actually going... sobrang suave lang. Kulang sa thrill.

Space Shuttle - you'll also get the jitters for sure. The thrill starts when the you are dragged upward to the top (feeling mo tuloy vertical ka na against the ground) then it would release you straight down at high speed - no dull moments! sobrang thrill!

the log jam! everyone squeals with excitement when the log they're riding is at the very top of the highest plunge... i can feel the butterflies in my stomach and i always wonder in terror, "why the hell did i agree to go on this ride?" a few minutes later, after screaming my lungs out, i yell, "let's do it again!" :D

The Jungle Log Jam is my favorite ride. It gets you wet just enough to feel refreshed unlike the Rio Grande Rapids which would make even your undies soaking wet. I did enjoy the Rio Grande though but it sure made my jeans very heavy. :D The 50 foot drop of the Log Jam could make your heart skip a few beats and you get to see how awful you look during the drop with the pictures taken by a camera mounted in front of the slide.

Another one of my favorite ride is the Space Shuttle. It tests the limit of one's endurance and after going through the ride, it gives me a feeling of being able to conquer anything :D

Rialto is another ride I surely won't miss when I'm at Enchanted Kingdom. It's so exciting and it will bring out the child in you. I make it a habit to ride it at least 3X para sulit talaga.

Sarap din sumakay sa Wheel of fate. After going through mind blowing rides, it's a fun way to relax. It's best to ride it at night when you can see all the lights down below and you could feel the cold wind blowing on your face.

My fave EK ride is the Space Shuttle. I tried it once and I really enjoyed it! There, I found the the true meaning of "spaced" out! I guess I like the ride because it reflects my personality. The more adventurous, the better. Highly-recommended talaga!

The Jungle Log Jam becoz the water is really soothing in the beginning giving a feeling of being in an actual river like the Arizona river calmly bringing you to an unknown destination. The unknown is none other than the unbelievable stomach emptying steep slope. The splash of water as I come down is shocking as well as exhilirating, a welcome respite from the heat. This ride beckons you to come back for as many times as you can.

This is not what I can call my fave ride, but this one is what can I call the most memorable ride.

For all the times that I've been to E.K., something always happens before and after I take this ride.

The most memorable happened in Decemeber of 1996. To make a long-story short, before the ride, I had a bestfriend, after the ride, I no longer had one. :( Don't get me wrong, though! She didn't pass away because of the ride, but let us just say that I discovered something about her that I didn't like.

My favorite ride would be The Space Shuttle. I've been to Magic Mountain in the States and ever since I got to ride the Batman...., I GOT HOOKED! Now, I don't think any roller coaster would scare the hell out of me. This is the only ride that can make my stomach turn so I'd go for it. It's really a challenge being able to walk to the place and step onto it. The initial movement that goes backward adds to its thrill. Parang may countdown...

Rio Grande Rapids is my definite favorite!!!!! :) My friends and I took time out to go all the way to EK for that ride lang. And it was WELL WORTH IT. All of us got SO WET, my shoes were squishy and I was soaked all the way to my underwear. Tapos umulit pa kami :belat:

anchors' away gives one an ecstatic feeling! it's like singing your way to the highest note you could ever reach. it allows you to scream without being held for contempt. there are no restrictions as to what do you like to scream of, be it just the basic screeeeaaaaammmmm!!!! or all sorts of restricted words like ?!@@@@???!####!!!! and the rest of those vulgar words never been said by a decent man. in other words, anchors away gives one, literally the freedom of speech at its highest voice and pitch!

space shuttle on the other hand, gives a different ecstatic feeling since its so fast that even before you know it, you're through with it! isn't it one hell of a wonderful orgasmic feeling?

I miss the ride Boomerang at California's Knott's Berry Farm... but when I learned of this cool ride at Enchanted Kingdom and decided to try it out, it was the same thing! It had about three loops which almost opped my head! whew! this is the coolest ride ever with "mile-high" free falls.. woah! surely it's the best thing to ride

The first time I set foot on EK I wanted a ride that wouldn't seem to be a waste of time. I got there just before lunch so there weren't many people around and after a few minutes I stood before this "mini-coaster", which was what I thought of it then. Having a slight fear of heights, I was surprised to find myself wanting to try out the Shuttle as the first ride, and my friend wanted to ride it too so we went on it. There weren't any other people around so we sat on the front seats. After a short while, the operators finally decided to start the Shuttle and a few moments later I found myself staring down at the ground. The shuttle suddenly dropped from where it hung and just seconds before hitting the shuttle followed the rails, curving upward and looping around and around. At first I thought I left my stomach back where we started, but as the Shuttle stopped and started going back down (this time backwards) I was sure that my stomach was with me because I felt its contents stir inside me. I left the ride weak-kneed, but I was cocky enough to declare that I wanted my first and last ride of that day to be in the shuttle. By the time I had to leave, it was already night and I wimped out at the thought of undergoing that experience again but in darkness. Ever since that night I started wimping out again, so I guess I have some scores to settle with that "mini-coaster", which makes it my favorite ride...

Okey na okey, Actually first time ko nag ride **, then masama ang loob ko nun grabe tapos my friend asked me if i want to try " SPACE SHUTTLE" sabi ko okey fine.

Ang paborito kong ride sa Enchanted Kingdom ay ang Jungle Log Jam. Masaya talagang sumakay sa ride na ito lalo na kapag kasama mo ang iyong mga kaibigan. Isa pa, sadyang mababasa ka talaga dito at sisigaw ka talaga habang pababa na ang sinasakyan mo. Huli sa lahat, ang nakakatawang Kodak moments dito. :D Kitang-kita talaga sa mukha yung mga reaksyon habang pababa na. :D

For me, Anchor's Away is still the best. I get everything I wanted from an Amusement Center/Carnival...you gat the thrills, the height, the speed...and best of all, you could see your friends get that funny face on your way down and vice versa!:lol: You can still look at each other while the adrenaline eats you up!

I remember pa my first visit to Enchanted Kingdom, I was with my friends and that time I'm not a fan, actually I'm scared of roller coasters. Then when we saw this ride, my friends are all going to ride it and I said that maybe if we should skip this one and then they call me a chicken and then of course I joined them

After the ride, I felt good and I want to ride it again. That experience teach me something that one of the best things in life is riding a roller coaster. Now I'm addicted to it and I ride almost every coaster I see, even the scariest for me which is Stealth, the flying coaster on Paramount's Great America.

i love the way the water splashes on my face and the exciting feeling when the log falls down steeply. I really love it though you'll end up getting wet. But bringing extra jeans and shirt will do you good!
