Locally .. Id go Amanpulo.
On the international scale, Id say Bali or the Carribean.

on the local scene: try pagudpud, ilocos norte or batanes (you can only go there during summer months with only several flights a week);el nido, club noah and dos palmas in palawan; shangrila, maribago blue waters and the like in cebu, guimaras and camiguin islands..
on the international scene: hawaii for their beaches, the famous beach in australia (gold coast)and the home of the rich and famous (CARRIBEAN)! these places are really great!
CANADA and SWITZERLAND will also be an option for the very cool weather whole year round..

Isn't it $600++ in Amanpulo? Pretty steep ... then again you only get married once (ideally anyway).

I went on a cruise this summer with my family and had a blast. You get to visit 10 or so different places without having to pack-unpack-pack-unpack every time you arrive at a new destination. The food is great and there are a lot of activities happening around the clock.

I encountered a few honeymooners but I wouldn't recommend the cruise line we took (Holland America) unless you're both over 60 years old because we were surrounded by senior citizens.

pplug ako! my parents ksi work for the company and this would be paradise for you! id recommend Royal Caribbean International! rates can get realllllly steep...but youll be getting your moneys worth i tell you. usually advertised on CNN (hotels and resorts waatever)... comprised of different vessels (whoa BIG and whoa LOADED vessels!) :beam: , which go around europe, the caribbean (the best!), asia & the pacific et.al... your choice really. comes in different packages. its based in miami. not so oldies ang crowd... and youll be able to meet a couple of filipinos... celebrities even! :cheese:

now on to the question,

having MORE THAN ENOUGH MOOLAH and if time would allow... well then id start off my honeymooning at shang mactan or bali... maybe spend a few days there then im off cruising around europe and the caribbean! on a private yacht(which would be my dream come true) only the filthy rich can afford this anyway, but what the hell! who knows diba tee hee :blushing:

the mediterranean would be my most favored place! (id pick this location if i am to choose only one)
prolly ill stay the loooooooongest in venice, cannes and st.tropez :blush2: sigh heavenly! :angel:

this will prolly suck our bank accounts dry but then again... as fizban mentioned... you get married only once!

locally, i'd go for palawan, never mind the security risk. and maybe puerto galera.

internationally, well, there's hawaii, st. tropez, monaco, the u.s. virgin islands, and a grand european tour.

my dream honeymoon would be in the following places:

venice - u and ur hunny can go shopping in venice island then ride the gondolas in the afternoon. riding a gondola with an italian guy serenading u two with italian love songs can get pretty romantic...sigh =)

lucerne, switzerland -- a really small but nice & romantic town. u can take ur pick from the many restaurants lined up beside the lake where you two can have a nice dinner while you watch the swans and ducks in the lake. then in the evening, have a quiet stroll over the bridge or sit on the banks of the lake while u feed or watch the swans.

bali, indonesia or the carribbean -- never been there but the beaches are supposed to be really nice

monaco -- super nice... visit the montecarlo casino or the church where grace kelly got married and is now buried in. enjoy the view, etc.

other nice honeymoon places: canada, london, new york, l.a., etc....the beaches of palawan, boracay, cebu, etc.

For the International scene, the CARRIBEAN will be highly recommended but it cost you quite a fortune. The place is branded to be haven of the RICH and FAMOUS, so be prepared.
GOLD COAST in AUSTRALIA will also be nice alternative..
