Are you an incoming freshman? If you are, I think you have to stick it out for the first semester, since you've been enrolled already. But you are free to shift courses before the second semester starts.

sori i think u have to stick with ur course for a couple of terms this wud vary with the skul requirement and shifting would require of u a certain grade. this is the problem almost encountered every new skul year people getting decided after they chose *** an irony

I thought so too. May certain average grade na kailangan, di ba? Mataas ba, like, 1.something? And I would think na kung may bagsak na unit e may bearing sa acceptability to shift di ba? I'm an incoming freshman for BSMT and I want to shift to ABPS. Like, what if bumagsak ako sa chemistry, like, I wouldn't have a subject in ABPS naman like it, so what's the big deal?

Popi sa UST ka papasok diba? Alam ko kasi sa Uste you need to finish 1 year or 2 semesters before shifting to another course. You need to have pretty decent grades especially if your shifting to another course which has a higher quota, so kahit hindi credited yung chemistry mo, it still would reflect on your transcript and possibly be the source of your non-admittance. The good news is if your transferring to a lower quota course the rules are a little lax. I'm not that sure if it's 2 sems though better check with your college secretary kasi minsan they can make exceptions. You can even ask the help of your guidance councilor if you want to shift courses kac they are the ones who keep your entrance examination grades.:)

hello Popi,
i agree with Bukoy, try to talk to the guidance councilor of your college and the College secretary of the particular course you want to shift to.
they have certain requirements like i think you have to be done with the certain subjects, and you have to maintain a certain average, it really depends per course.
goodluck.
