No, I didn't. I've no use for rings anyway, since I don't like wearing them. Besides, I'm not much of a sentimental person, so memorabilias don't count for much to me.

I didn't want to get one because I thought it wasn't worth the money, but my Dad strongly encouraged me to get one.

Funny that I end up wearing it everyday because it reminds me of my Dad more than my school. It's not because he paid for the ring or for my schooling. I have blurry childhood memories (3-4 years old maybe?) of playing with his class ring some mornings before he left for work so many years ago. It's funny, but that's what I think about. :)

On another note, **** Gordon (the Ateneo's best cheerleader to date?) dropped by our place one night to have dinner. I sat beside him and noticed that he was wearing an Ateneo class ring of the largest size. Maybe by the time you have kids, you'll really treasure these things.

no, i didn't. i'm a little sentimental yeah, but i find a college ring too much for my overly thrifty self to keep ;). instead, i bought myself a keychain, stickers and address book all bearing the name of my alma mater. :D

I bought a college ring and never wore it. Then I went to business school, bought another ring and never wore that.

I had a friend say that they tried selling grad rings in a certain exclusive girl's school. Idea flopped badly.

I did but I got held-up so nawala rin yung P6,000++ na SR Oval ring ko from Suarez Bros. Nakalimutan ko kasing tanggalin sa daliri ko! :(

Nope... I don't wear rings anyway. And... umm... after all the stuff the school solicited from us students during the schoolyear, I wasn't really into spending more money for a ring to remember it by.

Yeah, I did---it's a silver one. My friends in college often describe it as "pang-DOM" `coz it's big and chunky.
