DLSU-CSB's dress code cool or not.

I've been wondering why CSB's dress code is more conservative compared to that of DLSU main's dress code.

It's probable that students in your school would abuse the dress code if you acquire the rules in dlsu-main.

Nagkaroon kasi ng study dito sa dlsu-main for a span of I think the whole second term. They allowed all the students to wear anything they want. It turns out na wala namang umabuso sa freedom. Kaya ayun, lifted na ang strict dress code dito sa main. The admin and DO trusts us na siguro kasi they know we are mature enough to know kung paano mag-damit sa school.

Dapat magkaroon din ng study na ganyan sa CSB para naman ma-prove nyo na kaya din kayong pagkatiwalaan ng admin at DO.

Section 1.3.3 of CSB's Student Handbook says that "[s]tudents are to dress in modest, decent, good taste. Any attire which tends to scandalize or offend others in the academic community, such as, but not limited to backless, midriff, tubetops and see-through attires are prohibited."

You'll notice that this "dress code" isn't asking for too much, since it's asking for attire in good taste. It's not like CSB is telling you to come to school in your Sunday best. I personally think it's more lenient than most other schools' dress policies, because some other schools actually give you voluminous lists of what you cannot wear. The CSB policy allows you more freedom, other than the aforementioned "backless..." clause, which I think is more than fair. It is a policy similar to DLSU-Manila's.

Basta ako komportable na sa sandals at shorts pag pumapasok ako. Karamihan naman sa mga Benildeans eh mahilig pumorma so wala ka naman makikita masyadong people na parang galing bahay lang at wala rin namang mga babaeng mahilig pumormang pini-pickup diba?! In good taste nga kasi! :smokin:
