I am new to the forum and just wanted to say hello to everyone. I am about to start the Doctor of Business Administration program at DLSU. I am excited and looking forward to sharing this experience with all who are interested.

If anyone else here is part of the same program it would be great to get to know you. Otherwise I'm equally looking forward to exchanging thoughts, ideas, and experiences with other current, former or future business students.

A little bit about myself...

I am in my mid-20s, manage a business full-time, and have a BBA and an MBA, both from abroad. I'm still not entirely sure what area I want to focus my research on, however I'm especially interested in organization development and behavior.

Look forward to hearing from all of you!

I was thinking of the same thing... although I am leaning towards another MA degree like in philosophy compared to a DBA.

Aside from academic stripes, what does a DBA really give you compared to an MBA degree?

Nothing in the business world, but a minimum requirement for those who'd like to teach graduate level business courses in a reputable university.
