Adamson's cheers get stuck in my head the most often, but not necessarily because I like any of them.

I like the "Go USTe" cheer. Before the ADMU-UP game, I was watching the AdU-UST game and even if I was for Adamson that time, whenever UST starts cheering it, I can't help but join. :)

Ako rin eh. Kahit anong kantahin ko, kahit cheer pa ng mismong school ko, nawawala pag Go Uste na. Kumakanta na ko para sa kanila. She* na cheer yan hehe

naalala ko nung opening. Unang game UST-AdU. Kakasigaw ko kasama ng UST crowd lalo na nung "go uste", hindi ako nakapagcheer sa school ko dahil naubos na boses ko.

Actually ok sana yung "Go Ateneo, One Big Fight"...
pero inaasar sila na "Go Areneoh, Voltes Five" :lol: with matching V-formation ng cylindrical foam or hotdog balloons or plastic tubes. :lol:

At na-witness ko rin yung pag-mock sa "Go UE, go go, UE".. na "Go Uwe, go go uwe." :lol: eh db may hand gestures pa yun.. so pag-mock sa kanila eh may hand gestures din na kunwari pinapa-uwi sila. :lol:

Sa "Go Ateneo, One Big Fight" na cheer, napakadominant ng male voice. Wala akong madining na kahit isang matinis na boses that comes from female voice. Sabi ko tuloy, wala atang nanonood na babae sa ateneo... puro barako... lol.

Same thing with "Get that ball" cheer and "D-LS-U, Animo La Salle", lalaking lalaki. :rotflmao:

But cheers like "Go UE, Go UE" and "Falcon Let's Go.. Fight" and "Recca Summa FEU", parang all-girl cheering squad naman. :D

though not really a cheer, there's this ue drum thing na gustong gusto ko. siyempre mahirap ilagya dito yung drumbeat, magmumukha akong ***** if i try. but yung dating niya kasi sa akin, parang you're going to war or something like that. basta mahaba siya drums, walang cheer at all.

i agree na baka nga walang matandaan na cheer from nu, dahil konti ang nagchecheer. sila lang talaga yung school na wala akong maalala na cheer e.

not a fan of spelling, maski yung unibersidad na abakada. nakakpagod icheer yun. haha.

ang funny talaga, dito ko lang nalaman na minomock pala yung ateneo ng voltes five.

MY SCHOOL:
- all cheers especially Halikinu and Locomotive Yell.

UP - Unibersidad ng Pilipinas cheer (2008 CDC arrangement)

DLSU - Rektikano and Ocho. I actually like the Lasalle Spelling cheer. It's simple yet remarkable.

UST - I also like there Ocho. Plus, Black-Gold-Black-White and of course, Go USTe. Other people here are correct, kahit anong school ka pa, mapapa-GO USTe ka rin talaga pag iyan na ang pinapatugtog.

UE- I don't know how it's called but it goes like this: "Go UE Warriors, Go., Fight Fight Fight Fight!"

FEU- Danger, Danger (incorrectly regarded [and pronounced by the FEU crowd] as DENJER, DENJER)

Hindi ako sure ah, pero parang una ang UST na may special cheer for free throws, which is "ONE for UST."

Na-witness ko ito nung season 69 nung nakapasok sa finals ang UST. then years after that, may mga free throw cheers na rin or drum beats ang ibang schools.

Though, pwedeng mali ako kasi since season 69 lang ako nanunuod ng live basketball games. Just correct me if i'm wrong ;)

PS:
very unique ang defense cheer ng UST na: "Oh! Defenza!"
kasi yung iba like "defense" sus, narinig ko na sa NBA at PBA yan.
yung "get that ball" ginaya na ng ibang schools so wala nang dating minsan.

nakakatawa lang pati offense ginawan ng cheer, something like: "shoot that ball" eh alangan naman na ibulsa yung bola o lunukin. ;)

I'd still say Go Uste.
During cheering competitions (when all UAAP pep squads are present) even in the middle of an araneta-rocking drum battle between each squads, once the YJ starts playing Go Uste, the whole araneta cheers in unison. *okay*

(well almost all, except for UP I guess. :) )

heck, even sev sarmienta (who is an atenean) is very vocal
on how he loves this cheer.

nung grade school ako lagi ko sinasama sa game ng mga kuya ko pag may game sila vs. ust. di ko maintindihan yung "animo." akala ko sinisigaw nila "dayain mo la salle!"

there's this year na ang ganda ng freebies sa games. 04 ata yun. yung may tarp pa na pinamimigay yung smart. and styro na pamaypay na nakalagay "I'm Green Archers Fan" tapos may cheer na nakalagay dun.

then we got hold of "I'm a Bulldogs Fan" . my friend and I we're trying to figure out the cheer. meron pa ata dun "Bulldogs, bulldogs, bulldogs fight!" ang hirap sabihin. parang tongue twister.

that's something i try to spot whenever i see the nu pep on halftimes. i try to give myself some entertainment.

^ nakakatawa nga yung NU Pep Squad kahapon eh.. yung mga "guys" nila, sumayaw ng "Nobody" :lol: Ang naintindihan ko lang sa cheer nila ay "Shoot that Ball" kapag may nag-freethrow.. Pero tinutugtog din nila yung "Malboro theme", and yung iba, may pagka-fiesta ang dating :)
