Aside from being in your best corporate attire, ano pang ibang tips para magmukhang presentable sa interviews?
May preference ba ang mga companies dun sa mga hindi kalbo? Mas gusto ba nila na walang facial hair?

I have done a lot of interviews myself, and here are some tips on what the person across from you is expecting.
1) Clean and presentable attire (good looks is still an asset during interviews)
2) Humble and willing to learn (they don't want applicants that are full of themselves)
3) Aggressive - Willing to do and apply for whatever position just to get on board.
4) Loyalty - If asked where you want to be five years from now, tell them you want to be successful in their company. Never answer you want to save money and go abroad or start your own business.
5) Never bad talk past companies
6) Sit straight and appear confident.
7) Sell yourself not your resume. Nobody reads the resume, they want to see your character, Your mind, heart and of course looks.

If you are serious, visit me at my office (Makati) wearing your intended attire along with other aspects of your personal appearance, and I can give you comments right then and there. Since you won't be applying for a job, you won't necessarily feel nervous and we can talk freely. Baka may free merienda ka pa kung good mood ako.

walang facial hair
maayos yung hair mo mo kung long hair ka man nakatali dapat
wear something formal but not too formal...if you would be wearing longsleeves choose plain colors less design...and the safest would be white...best if you can wear something simple and eye catching
be on time

How about mga nagsusuot ng glasses? I read somewhere sa yahoo news na they were given lower scores in teamwork bla bla ->sa US company toh
And saan ako dapat tumingin?
@sher
Napanood ko sa news na dapat blue raw? Or depende lang talaga kung ano ang babagay sa magsusuot?
Maraming salamat!

^naaliw naman ako sa query on preference to facial hair - but for me it's not too relevant. if you want to keep it, basta malinis tignan that should suffice.
in terms of physical appearance at pag pinagsabay mo 2 equally qualified applicants in terms of experience and credentials, siyempre mas prefer kong i-hire ang clean-cut, clean shaven, squeaky clean image kumpara sa mga dugyot who are so sure of themselves na di man lang mag-effort to consider what others may think.
@KuyaDanny, tagal ko na kasing di nagpapa-personal interview, next uwi ko can you extend the offer to me? ako na manlilibre ng meryenda, i just need candid input from an objective person.

My offer was extended to Katchatore, but what the heck? Let me know when you plan to be nearby and I might be free (along with the merienda).

KD, thanks for the offer but I'm sorry that I can make the necessary appointments because I'm going to be busy for the next few weeks.
Anyway if I can pwede bang pics na lang, PM ko na lang and then you can comment on my get-up and the facial grooming (hairs and stuff). I know personal appearance is impt but I'm really going to be pre-occupied with stuff for the coming weeks.
Thanks

I would disagree that nobody reads resumes, but agree that you should sell yourself by expounding on your resume assuming your resume is complete and truthful.

I disagree. As an interviewer, I do read resumes. I will not even call candidates who have trashy resume, such as wrong grammar, unprofessional picture (better not to attach picture), not well written resume. Work experience should also fit with open position.
Consider resume as your advertisement that will be your ticket to at least get into initial interview.

Regarding the topic, just be yourself but don't let your guards down.

I ask applicants to tell me about their previous organization, so I ask them to describe their teams, its functions, their processes, inter-department dependencies, org charts. I like people who have well rounded knowledge of their organizations, not just their own specific jobs. Team players.
Re appearances, those that prefer to make bold statements with their unorthodox appearances are politely turned down.

is it okay to wear a black denim
that looks like slacks, and match it
with a plain maroon long sleeves?
i have a black slacks but i may look
too formal using that outfit, is it
advisable to use the black denim
(that looks like slacks) instead?
the reason im asking is because
i dont think i look good in my white
long sleeves. parang hindi bagay sa
akin yung whites. and i think i look
better pag etong maroon long sleeves
ang suot ko...
how about wearing a skinny fit trousers?

In general, "too formal" is better than "too informal".

Better "over-dressed" than "under-dressed".
