Someone pm-ed me asking about a post but I can't find the exact forum anymore. So I'm re-posting this...
For bloggers interested to join this... here is the official mechanics, I got this from the asus site (hope this helps): :)
This contest is open to all ASUS Eee PC owners from July 1- September 30, 2009.
Contestants must log on to www.myeeepcmylife.com.ph to register.
One (1) ASUS EeePC owner can only use one (1) serial number for verification thus one (1) entry for the contest will be one (1) verified serial number. A minimum of FOURTEEN (14) and maximum of NINETY-TWO (92) blogs must be submitted to qualify in the contest.
Blogs must be written either in proper English and/ or Filipino with correct grammar. Taglish phrases are accepted providing with minimal use.
One blog must consist of a minimum of one hundred (100) words/ characters with no maximum. To join contest registration form must be properly filled out (Username, Email, Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Address, Telephone Number, Mobile Number, and Serial Number). Upon registering contestant will gain access to his own blog page where he/she can post as many blogs about his EeePC experiences.
Deadline for posting of blogs will be on September 30, 2009 6:00PM. Judges will be invited to choose the top 3 best blogs entries.
The blog entry will be judged on the following criteria:
a. Experience Value (35%) – Blogs about how one shared his day-to-day experience with his EeePC.
b. Consistency (30%) – Blogs entries must accumulate to 14 – 92 entries total.
c. Creativity (25%) – Imaginative and entertaining writing skills which captures attention and leaves a deep impression on its readers.
d. Impressions (10%) – Number of times blog entries have been viewed on the site: www.myeeepcmylife.com.ph.
A panel of judges appointed by www.myeeepcmylife.com.ph will make the final decision in selecting the winner based on the above criteria and the entry’s relevance to the contest topic. In case of a tie, the three (3) judges will be given authority to re-evaluate blog entries. Judging and determination of winners will be:

Date: October 5, 2009 (Monday)
Time: 04:00 – 06:00PM
A DTI representative will be invited to witness the judging and determination of winners.
1st Prize – one (1) winner of a FIVE(5) Nights Cruise for FOUR(4) on board Super Star Virgo includes:
(4) people Roundtrip Airfare (MNL-SINGAPORE-MNL) - Up to 6 meals a day in the inclusive restaurants Bella Vista (Western), Pavilion Room (Chinese), Mediterranean Buffet (International) – (Beverages like - soft drinks/juices/wines/liquors etc. not included) - Luxurious accommodation - World Class Entertainment - Use of Recreational and Gym Facilities - Children Facilities - Roundtrip Airport Transfers - Tours, transfers and entrance fees as specified in the itinerary - Validity of trip prize will be within 6 months from date of claiming.
2nd Prize – one (1) winner will receive one (1) unit ASUS U20 Laptop

A participant can only win once in the blog contest. Winners will be notified through phone and registered mail. Winners shall shoulder the 20% withholding tax of prizes. To claim the prizes, the winner should present the original registered mail, two (2) valid IDs (passport, driver’s license, SSS ID, PRC ID,etc.) at ASUS Technology Philippines Inc. 14 United Street Brgy. Kpitolyo Pasig City 1603 Monday – Friday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. Prizes not claimed within sixty (60) days from receipt of notification shall be forfeited in favour of ASUS Technology Philippines Inc. with prior approval from DTI. All prizes (1st, 2nd and 3rd prize) are transferable but not convertible to cash. Travel documents, taxes and other travel related expenses shall be for the account of the winner. In case of disputes, ASUS Technology Philippines Inc. Decision in concurrence with DTI shall be final and non-negotiable. All employees of ASUS Technology Philippines Inc. , participating dealers and other promo partners/ third parties, including their relatives up to the second degree of consanguinity or affinity, are automatically disqualified from joining the contest.
