Ang Ending ng KITE (Anime movie)

I got to watch it a few weeks ago and...grabe...Awesome talaga. Pero I found the ending pretty sad... bakit ganun? :~( Hindi ba mas masaya kung nabuhay na lang si Aubrey (hindi ko alam ang spelling...)? I... thoughts please...

Eh sa anime naman, di naman required na happy lagi ang ending eh. A lot of Japanese anime want to give some sense of reality in their story, so sad endings do happen in real life. When Oburi died at the end, it left you thinking about the violence that these two kids entered into at a young age, and the price that they paid for the loss of innocence.:ahh:

pero cool pa rin 'yung gun battles sa Kite!:D

I just watched it today and I think this is where they got the idea for that no doubt video title "ex-boyfriend".

The ending of kite is a cool one. I think if Oburi and Sawa did end up together theyd probably shoot each others heads when they get into a lovers spat much later. Its a sad ending but I think that is the price they paid for their sins. Oburi died by the gun and Sawa was made unhappy despite her freedom.

I agree with everyone ,those guns battles are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay cool.

Oh...Oburi. Dubbed kasi yung napanood ko, badtrip. Me nakapanood ba ng dubbed din? Nakakatawa yung boses ni Sawa pagsumisigaw siya. :lol:

I know, I know. Talagang ganun ang mga ending minsan. Parang battle angel alita. Parang...parang ano pa ba? I have a lousy memory. Ah! Parang EVA! hehe.

Tsaka what sins? hindi naman nila talaga kasalanan yun a. parang psychologically manipulated nga sila, they should be pitied, i think, especially Sawa. (Ano ba ang issue ni Oburi dun sa dalawang guys? :bleh: butinga dun sa mga mokong na yun! TADTARIN NG BALAAAAAA!!!!!!):bop: :evilgrin:

Dun sa bathroom scene, Sawa has these sharp thingis with her. Ever wondered kung pano nya napapalabas yun? :) wala lang!

I HATED :grrr: that girl who shot Oburi!!! Awang-awa na ako kay Sawa (pretty girl. pretty strange girl. pretty psychologically abused girl...) Someone give me exploding shells!!!! DAMN HER!!!!

skybastian, hay naku, mapahiram na nga sa yo ang Kite copy ko ng makita mo na kung gaano ka-"INTENSE" ang mga hentai scenes... pero talagang nakakaawa si Sawa... she was emotionally, psychologically and physically abused and manipulated by Akai!?! Hanga nga ako sa kanya kasi kumbaga kahit papaano... she kept her sanity intact!?!

... basta ang kailangan ko na lang hanapin yung UNCUT version nya... pag nakita ko yun... :mischief: :lol:

D best yung Kite, I think the ending is just okay, it just may you think twice on your decisions in life coz its hard to escape the harsh reality of life.... nyek may sense ba yung sinabi ko... anyway yung uncut version mas maganda eventhough na pang adult na yung dating nya pero ang gailing talaga it lets every emotions in you from hate to joy, from love to lust, ang galing talaga ng pagkakagawa... and did you know that sawa is really a hentai character( I think she's the best because she got attitude)... you can see her at Cool Devices 4... well eventhough thats the case I think she's not created to serve manly desires!

nakabili brother ko sa northmall. nakakalat lang ang kite before pero ngayon, it seems as if kailangan mo na talagang umorder. sa me northmall 3rd floor meron doong pwedeng orderan. nasa me bandang gitna lang yun malapit sa me stairs pababa and papuntang LRT. :spinstar:

welcome! :balloon: with regards to the ending nga pala, i think the ending is good. its good part lies in the fact na halos parang nambibitin sya ng audience ...you know, sawa just lying in one place expecting aubrey or oburi (?) to return. pretty tragic! :glee: sana magkaroon pa ng sequel. pero with regards to the girl who shot oburi, isn't she the one who is playing basketball with this other brat during the previous scene? yung tumawag kay oburi ng "you old fart" or sumthin' after nung nagwalkout si oburi ke akai? kasi nung scene na yun din ay pinakita si akai sa window at pinapanood sila. :hmm:

I think it was Akai who sent the pigtailed freakin' girl to kill Oburi ...i think it was her IF she is really the one who is playing basketball in the earlier scenes. Di ba before na nagwalkout si Oburi and before pa na nadaanan niya yung girl na nagbabasketball e nagkaroon sila ng misunderstanding ni Akai (and Akai was also having troubles with Sawa)? Therefore, if Akai, who was watching from the window took the fight of Oburi and the kid seriously, then pwede siguro na naconsider niya na pwede niyang gamiting instrument yung girl by training her to replace Sawa just in case dumating yung panahon (yikes pagdating ng panahon! :p ). Notice his smile nung nakadungaw siya sa window.

Magkano kaya binabayad sa kanila that Oburi still has to work sa convenience store? Hmmm.... How did Oburi get involved ba with Akai in the first place? Kelangan talaga ng sequel!!!

naguguluhan pa rin ako sa story ng KITE, I really need to watch the uncut version para mas maintindihan ko, the English dubbed was kinda ok, but a subtitled one could be alot better.

The only thing that they deleted from Kite was the 3-5 minute scene where the Detective had sex with Sawa.

About the ending, parang poetic justice yung nangyari dun sa boy assassin eh. He messed with those gurls and he paid for it.


There's another series coming from the same creator. The lead character looks like Sawa too but medyo may pagka comedy ang theme. (not as wacky as Burn Up Excess though)

Of course, they are pretty girls but deadly assassins again...

I, myself, consider KITE's ending one of the lamest in all of the anime I've watched. However, in fairness, it was a fitting end for an assassin.

"those who live by the gun, die by the gun"

Disappointing is the only word I can ever use to describe Oburi. I was impressed by his usage of the little "stickybombs" and that gunfight in the train, but I cannot find an excuse to give him praise as an assassin because of the following facts:

1) His assignment to kill the 3 old perverts was done by Sawa. Better too.

2) His hand-to-hand skills suck.

3) I don't think he has an excuse (vengeance, money, etc) to be an assassin.

4) Finally, I cannot forgive a man who is not strong enough to break a hold so he can save his beloved from being f*cked like a rabbit.

Nope, sorry, Mezzo Forte's not a sequel. Only a cameo by Sawa made it seem that way.

Oburi was just a victim of the most powerful machine in literary history --- the plot device!!! If not for that, he would be alive as all other good guys out there untainted by this power-hungry contraption. :)

Look at it this way --- how the heck did Sawa survive 5 (was it 5?) bodyguards, a fall from a highrise building (VERY high, I might add... AND she was being shot at by another bodyguard WHILE falling, by the way) to an overpass which collapsed on an avenue (which in turn also collapsed on a subway) and an explosion (by a 10-wheeler) under her feet (flinging her for more than 30 feet in the air) with only a few cuts, bruises and possibly fractures? :D

Its just the musings of the all-powerful plot device folks, nothing more. :)
