hindi siguro. hindi naman uaap or ncaa caliber ang fatima in terms of sports program.

there are some schools that are not big but have good sports program, ie. um and lyceum. every once in a while, you hear them win other leagues. the league (uaap) also don't want non-competitive teams, as it should be mutually beneficial. not only one school to benefit from the prestige of the league or vice-versa, the league getting prestigious universities but weak sports programs.

but ncaa bound for uaap, schools like san beda, letran and ssc can do.

right now I think San Beda lang(after they get University accreditation) yung qualified to join the UAAP. kahit siguro the other older members ng NCAA like Baste, Letran even Mapua (IF and when they officially become Universities) mahihirapan makapasok sa UAAP -- kung gugustuhin nila. though Im pretty sure masaya na sila sa NCAA.

If you are from OLFU, I would like to thank you for taking the time and effort to provide information about your school... at least I learned something new while reading your posts. Don't mind the remarks of the other posters here... it's just in their nature to insult others to make themselves feel better and alleviate whatever feelings of inadequacies they may have. Nothing to worry about though... they won't get to make the decision anyway if and when your school does decide to apply for UAAP membership. The only opinions that would matter are those held by the school representatives to the UAAP Board... which you can most assuredly trust to be more level-headed, impartial and less parochial than the views expressed here. *okay*

Warning to all nursing students out there especially those who are studying at Fatima University Valenzuela.

A text message has been circulating today within the Fatima community which says:

Reported on DZBB:
A graduating nursing student named RICHARD CAPISTRANO was reportedly accused of raping his co-students at OLFU Val. This student was still at large and attending review classes til now. Parents of the victim has reported the incident to the OLFu admin and DZBB radio last Friday night. Please pass. Thanks.

This was probably sent by a concerned student/parent. I actually go to OLFU also. My mom heard the DZBB report as well and apparently, this rapist is set to graduate tom. She also heard that the parents' pleas to the guiadance office and admin to at least take some action fell on deaf ears. So now this rapist will soon become a bonafide nurse and will have access to see and touch his patients' bodies.

There are other stories circulating that apparently, there have been other rape cases in Fatima but the admin just shoved these under the rug. I won't be surprised if may milagrong naganap dito dahil mukha naman talagang pera ang Fatima.

So guys please spread the word. Even if this guy has graduated, he will still be attending review classes in school. Make sure all your women friends avoid this guy.

Oh Well, xenxa na mga taga Fatima! Medyo under-estimated kayo dito sa PEX kasi ganun talaga, yung mga ibang students masyado na mataas tingin nila sa sarili nila pag naka tungtong sa Unibersidad na sikat. Di man makasali ang OLFU sa UAAP dapat maging proud pa rin kayo sa pag produce ng Nurses and Caregivers that many pinoys don't know helps a lot in this country.

It's the first time I've read this thread because I don't have any interest in reading it from the title. BUT I felt sorry for the Fatima U's community from the way some University students over reacted.

To YOU warrior_colin please stop cursing the OLFU students. You can just do it if the'yre the ones who cursed you first.

because madadaanan mo school nila. It is because of your poor time management kaya ka nalelate! When I was a student I always pass by Manila Central University (MCU) via EDSA and if I'm late I don't blame them I blame the bus driver and the Caloocan traffic management.

At wala kang paki alam sa kanila kung sa SM nila gusto kumain it's their choice. Pinapaki-alaman ka ba nila pag sa Mama-Leng's ka kumakain?
