just curious, malakas ba alumni support for our wvt? are they being taken care of? same as the mens and other sports? as we all know our bASKETBALL TEAM is really well financed by our alumni.

and the team that needs funds and support is the volleyball team. having a league like this is a sign for SBC to develop a strong womens volleyball team. napapagiwanan talga tayo sa volleyball.tsk tsk tsk

@rpp kung alam mo lang kung gaano kahina ang support ng alumni sa WVT:(, ang libre lang sa kanila ay yung jersey uniform nila:(

sana mapansin nila ang status ng WVT natin dahil sobrang hina talaga hindi tulad ng basketball na super support sila tulad ng fast medical assistance nila sa MBT natin.

once mangyari ang full support ng students and alumni sa SBC wvt I'm sure makakapasok din sila sa v-league and perhaps makakamit na rin ang 1st NCAA WVT championship.

yung soccer and swimming team nga ng SBC parang intermission number lang sa alumni eh...

gumawa na sila ng recruitment program dahil tumitindi na ang competition sa pagkuha ng good volleyball players especially sa popularity ng UAAP volleyball ngayon.

in sbc's first season, they are winless...which is understandable kasi bago sila...the birth pains ika nga...

sa second season, they went 3-9 in 5th place out of seven teams...actually they are in contention pa nga in final four...nakuha nga lang ng letran ang last final slot...

who knows di ba? kung yung sbc men's volleyball team eh nag-2nd (nag-top pa sila sa eliminations)...baka maging contender na rin ang sbc women's volleyball team...maging maganda ang recruitment nila!

besides just like theo said 2 years pa lang ang WVT sa NCAA plus lahat ng players ay walk-in students lang... all we need is scouting, recruitment and support lang and I'm sure SBC will be at top of the mountains sa volleyball.

on the good note naman napanood ko ang SBC WVT sa 2 years nila sa NCAA, and grabe ang improvement nila tulad ng MVT in fact muntikan pa makapasok sa F4 ang very young team ng SBC.

Let's just hope na magiging maganda ang WVT ng SBC in future.

San Beda should improve their volleyball program. Yung recruitment ngayon sa UAAP volleyball is like basketball. Agawan talaga. *ehem* Ateneo and UST *ehem*. Haha. Sumisikat na kasi yung sport. I hope San Beda will do the same thing.

Four NCAA schools pa lang ang nakapagparticipate sa V-League ever. PCU, Benilde, Letran and San Sebastian. San Sebastian lang ang consistent na asa V-League actually.

I'm sure San Beda is finding a way para marevamp ang program nila. Ang Ateneo they got an "MVP-like" manager in Tony Boy Liao sa volleyball program that's why they are getting a lot of good recruits. Yun ata ang kelangan ng San Beda eh. Tapos aside from that, get a good coach. Marami naman diyan na pwede magcoach or since uso naman ang two-team coaching, pwede silang kumuha sa ibang leagues like UAAP and WNCAA ng coach. :)

SBC WVT is a very young team pa naman. Sana magising ang SBC community na volleyball ay bagong culture na din sa college sports and sinusuportahan na din ng mga tao. sana maganda recruitment program nila starting now.

san beda actually started it na sa men's...yung women's, 2 years old pa lang...birth pains pa...but what's important right now is yung commitment! :)

I remembered it nga na nagulat ang lahat sa performance ng SBC MVT last season biglang finals appearance after no appearance sa F4 noong season 83. I hope ganun din mangyari sa SBC WVT na magulat na lang NCAA sa lakas ng SBC WVT.

Yung San Beda Coach and some of their players lagi nanonood ng Ateneo MVT games last UAAP and I think the players know each other very well. I don't know why and how though. :)
