VMV is good but quite expensive (also you turn white easily). L'Oreal uses Mexoryl w/c is supposed to be good. So does Kiehl's but I don't know if that's available locally.
I'm still looking for a sunblock available locally that only uses physical blocks (titanium dioxide or zinc oxide).
Coppertone is greasy. Beach Hut and other spray sunblock is convenient.

Question, which sunblock have you tried that's the most waterproof?
And again, does anyone know a locally available na purely physical sunblock (na hindi libo-libo tulad ng Obagi)?
Thanks.

^i use banana boat's continuous spray, it's easier, plus it's sweatproof, waterproof so it's perfect for water activities, hiking etc.
here it is.

^ I'm using that (i think with spf 45) and I just found out about the colorboosting sunblock/ with self tanning potions.
I have a pale skin. Paler than your standard run of the mill kid so I'm trying to get some tan.

SPF 70's just a marketing ploy, the duration and intensity of the sunblock's the same with SPF 50.

i've been using Biotherm's sunblock for the face. It's not oily and it lasts all day. It's also waterproof, so kahit pawis na pawis ka, it stays on. It's spf 50

I love love this! After using lots of sunblock that makes my face GREASY AND OILY, this one is just heaven sent.

Sans the "oiliness" and "greasiness", this must be really good. Hindi ba talaga sya nag ko cause ng skin darkening? I'll give this a try too. I'm using Mary Kay Sun Essentials Ultimate Protection Sunblock SPF 30 now and definitely no darkening, even during our Boracay trip. Just a bit greasy lang kasi.

just be to vigilant about it, be conscious about choosing the environment friendly/biodegradable ones. although it's far from being proven yet, sunscreen wash-offs may contribute to the demise of the irreplaceable coral reefs.
so to be safe, i guess it would be best to read the fine prints first before forking over your cash for that desired sunblock of yours. i suppose that's the least every outdoor loving person should be doing :)

san ba nabibili yung mga vmv products??? at magkano ba yung sunblock sa neutrogena??
diba the higher the spf rating, the more possible skin irritation occurs and is not recommended for everyday use??

Hi! I'm looking for sunblock that I can use everyday. School's starting next week, and I'll be walking in the sun a lot during weekdays. I prefer sunblocks that are non-greasy, and hopefully one that can be applied on the body AND the face (I'd rather not spend more money on a separate facial sunblock).
Got any suggestions? Please include the store(s) that carry your recommended brand(s) of sunblock. Thank you!

I agree with de_veelish and purpleheadd07. Neutrogena is the best! It's an alternative for more expensive brands like VMV

iba pa rin ang skin mo pag may sunblock o wala... i mean, kahit pang oily skin na sunblock yan, may shiny effect pa rin compared to skin na walang sunblock na wala talagang shine..especially sa brown and tan colored face... based on my experience rin
