for sure na pong pasok sa team sina Pipo Noonduo & Ryan Garcia(RP Youth). so far sa mga breed ng rookies, sila palang talaga ang sure. yung iba kasi parang masyado pang bata para ilaban sa UAAP. nakita ko yung mga mukha, parang straight from HS lang. i dont know kung balik na din sa team si McJan Vinluan(although nakalaro na siya sa Fr. Martin Cup)

Tanuan is also making his presence felt sa court sa mga previous tournaments nila and with their win in the recently concluded Father Martin's Cup mukhang malakas ang kumpiyansa ng FEU coming into the Nike Summer League which will start on April 18.

FEU -- also with almost intact veteran lineup
and
DLSU -- time tested solid gameplan and system, best rookie recruitment class

who will battle it out this season. The last final4 slot will be open to everybody else since I feel after the top 3 teams, all the rest are on equal footing.

wasak, pero mga bata pa sila may youth factor pa sila. siguro malayo na ang final four sakanila. kaya lang with the pumaren brothers walang imposible sa kanila. ginawa na nilang bahay ang UAAP finals lage silang andun sa finals. kaya sa palagay ko walang sigurado ngayon sa season 72.

hehehe..pero nakatulong din kina barroca at cawaling at pati na rin kay ramos ang pagging miyembro nila sa smart gilas..grabe ang training nila pati din sa pbl nahasa na sila at *** mga ibang teammates nila like sanga, cervantes at knuttel..my prediction is baka no. 2 o baka no.1 standing ng feu sa eliminations..other than ateneo and feu most of the teams are on the rebuilding process kasi..although dlsu looks strong on paper at they have a good coaching staff nawala sa kanila ang 2 players na nagdala sa kanila sa buong season 71 which is rico and jv.for me lang ha malakas pa rin ang feu at ateneo dahil sa experience nila...hehehe..just my opinion lang..

In the payoff period, FEU rookie guard Ryan Roose Garcia was thrown out of the game with under two miuntes left after being charged a second technical foul. Ateneo playmaker Jai Reyes then sank the technical freebies, extending his team’s lead to eight, 74-66. Cameroonian swingman Pipo Noundou buried a trifecta that trimmed the Blue Eagle lead to two, 74-72. ^^ yep sobrang lakas ng FEU Tams on paper. they have TALL, STRONG and most of all BETERANO players in almost all positions. reminds me of that multi-titled lineup that had the likes of Arwind Santos, Mark Isip, Gerard Jones, RJ Rizada, Jeff Chan, Jonas Villanueva, and Denok Miranda! :eek:

this is FEU's best chance of bagging another UAAP title before their veteran's like Barroca, Cawaling, Sanga and Cervantes move on to the PROs. *okay*

anyone watched the game of DLSU vs FEU kahapon sa Nike Summer League?

a friend of mine told me na hindi daw ganun kaganda ang performance ng FEU although they won (67-66) against DLSU.

sabi outrebounded daw ang FEU ng DLSU and to think hindi daw kumpleto ang line-up ng DLSU kasi wala si Atkins, Mangahas at Ferdinand. at medyo bloody daw yung game kasi may isang player ng DLSU ang dumugo ang ilong at si Villanueva yata ay ulo naman.

natawagan din daw ng unsportsmanlike foul si Cervantes at Cawaling pero hindi connected dun sa bloody thing.

but as far as i know, bihira lang magpractice kasama ng Tams *** Cawaling, Barocca at Ramos kasi member sila ng Phil Team.

well abangan na lan natin. next week ay quarter finals na ng Nike Summer League.

sabi din nung friend ko ang winning shot daw was from RR Garcia na ginawa niya during the dying seconds of the game. nakita din daw nakasuot ng FEU Jersey si Escoto at panay daw ang dunk.

Pipoo did well daw the first quarter but was not much of a contributer daw kasi na foul trouble agad. But Barocca was really good sa assist daw at sa rebounding. Cawaling was off again maski sa free throws as well as Ramos. Buti na lang daw okay din ang game ni Cervantes.

Chemistry was an issue yesterday as Barroca, Cawaling and Ramos havent really been playing with the rest of the FEU team for over a month. Barroca was playing to much one on one and and he was called for a couple of offensive fouls as he was trying to bulldoze his small defender, which was a smart ploy made by Franz.

Hopefully the Gilas boys will be back in time if ever FEU reaches the final stages of their pre-Season tournaments. For me, chemistry is the most important things that needs to be achieved before the UAAP starts.

yesterday was the opening of classes at DLSU hence, a lot of players could not make it to the game because they had scheduled classes in the morning. they could not skip their first day in school. it was not an excuse for the defeat though . . .

Man for man, FEU is the strongest team this UAAP season..chemistry is the most important thing, with that talent and hopefully chemistry. They will be a force this UAAP season.
