Better send Mr Warwick a private message. Do ask for his opinion on this matter. He knows eveything about the programs of these schools. Good luck. The guy/gal is very informative.

Ha ha ha! Since when did this fake UPian Warwick whose hobby is bashing schools become the authority on ANYTHING? :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

Here's a better option: Check out the following sites then contact the respective schools and review the materials and responses and see what works for YOU. Both schools are respectable, so it doesn't matter that much where you go, as long as the program you decide on is what fits your situation. Good luck!

DLS-College of St Benilde:

UST:

The contact link is on the front page of each site.

CSB's multimedia actually tackles on the spectrum piece by piece, you will meticulously study one by one todays updated lectures on multimedia advancement. its a specialized advertising degree.

UST's advertising is a whole lot of topics in 1 course, since you will be talking and taking everything about advertising you wont focus on one arm of this industry, since you wont do that, evrything is just but a taste of painting, arki, interior, billboard, multimedia, market study, word of mouth, fashion design and a show, textile design, color combinations, cropping, installation art, puppets making, special effects .

CSB very expensive 90 - 100k/sem x 3 in a SY
UST middle class 47-50k/sem x 2 in a SY

i know coz a i took up adver in ust batch 2002, and i have 2 friends fr csb multimedia. where am i now?im an employee, and i have a food stall biz, my multimedia friends became heirs of there family biznes.doesnt need to take a response fr warwick.

I just can't believe some people here took me seriously when I suggested that the thread starter ask for Mr. Warwick's opinion. Who knows? Warwick may just provide him all the pertinent information he needs before deciding between UST or CSB. I mean you guys should give Warwick a chance to redeem himself. That is, if he can at least fool a newbie in any of the fora here.
I'm sure you guys are, in a way, able to help the thread starter decide wisely by questioning Warwick's credibility regarding the matter. As for me, I should take the course MOCKERY 101 or SARCASM 101. I may just ask Warwick where to take any of these two courses.

ay. ano ba yan? . is that the best you can do? BASHING SCHOOLS?.that's really a good logical analysis. siguro sa school niyo may course na "AB-BS" . bachelor of arts in bashing schools.:bop::bop::bop: .

bago ka magconclude kung alin sa alin, search for facts ha? kasi marami ang naghahanap ng magandang schools and kung makita man nila ang comment mo, maging panget ang impression nila sa csb. when in fact, one of the most prestigious art schools in philippines ang CSB. alam mo ba na taga-csb ang topnotcher sa ab-ind?. hindi? ayun, magbasa ka ng newspaper ha?tsk.tsk.kaawa-awa.sino ngayon ang nagmumukhang walang "BRAIN" . :bop::bop::bop:

Is this a joke? You're actually having a problem choosing between UST and Benilde? That's so funny! hahaha!

No brainer.

In a heartbeat you should have no hesitation in choosing UST if you have to choose between the two. Actually i am wondering if this should qualify as a choice? Since the answer is pretty much obvious.

Lol. I dunno who to trust- The forum peeps or real life peeps. =))

Tapos, eto pa, yung kuya ng classmate ko, Advert grad, ni hindi daw binigyang-pansin/ tinulungan ng school siya sa paghanap ng job, whereas the person i talked to from CSB landed a job easily. Haha Nakakahilo na talaga.

Pero in the end, I think it's in the person, not in the school.

I know someone who graduated in CSB MMA who worked for EA sports. He was part of a team of created one of Tiger Woods video game. Another Benildean is a graphics team manager in Singapore.

So go figure...

yung son ng family friend namin nag-aral ng mma sa csb. siya yung type ng student na parang so-so lang nung high school. nabalitaan ko recently nasa abs-cbn na siya sa sfx dept (or something). not bad for a first job.

i guess ok talaga sa csb.
