Hi guys,

I just want to ask if MBA schools such as Lasalle, U.P., UST, San Beda etc. are strict when it comes to B.S. grades or college grades. Because I'm planning on applying for an MBA program but the problem is one of their requirements is having an average of 2.00 for the whole undergraduate course you took. I have one failing grade(5.00) in college for a major subject and I'm afraid because of this my average wouldn't reach the 2.00 mark. May I ask what does it mean by 2.00. 2.00 and below or as long as it strikes 2.00(2.25, 2.5,). Sorry if my question sounds stupid but it's really because of my failing grade which is stopping me to apply.Thank you

I took and passed the graduate entrance exam of Ateneo-GSB. It was not too difficult for me, but yeah the time was a bit short for such a lengthy test.

Not that I'm bashing Ateneo-GSB, but I don't think they deny admission to applicants (except of course if you lack even their easiest requirements) because if you don't make it in the entrance test or you didn't reach the 85% GWA cutoff or years of experience requirement, they'd schedule you for an interview. From my sources, no one flunks that part.

I can only give you feedback for Ateneo-MBA since this is the only graduate school entrance exam that I took. :)

yup juntrix is right. AGSB is not that strict with its applicants based on my observations and opinions I got from other people who took the exams there. With UP-MBA, I guess the admission committee is strict since a lot I think are applying there and there are only limited slots for that program. It has classes which are held during t-th and w-Friday if i am not wrong. If you want to know more about AGSB's mba standard program, you may want to search for my thread and read the posts there..
