This is not the first time that sister schools have represented the SAME religious order in BOTH the UAAP & the NCAA.

Dominican-run schools UST & Letran are both in the UAAP & NCAA respectively.

i think that is just a rumor... why would ncaa do that? La Salle was with the NCAA way back and it took them years to take La Salle back in the league... tru DLSU- CSB.

Hay nako! Pakana lang yan ng mga jologs na nag-ru-rule ng NCAA...nasasapawan kasi sila ng Benilde eh. Oh well, if they don't want Benilde in, then Benilde should not waste time hanging out with them...besides, Benilde looks VERY out of place in NCAA (just look at the other teams...)

Well if CSB gets kicked out of the NCAA, they might as well join the UAAP. Lets see if they can still be champions against much TOUGHER competition. Im sure even NU can give CSB headaches!

Kase pag sumali ang isang school sa isang league like NCAA or UAAP, meron yang minimum tenure na at least 10 years kaya di ka pwede basta-bastang tanggalin. Remember Adamson's case with Marlou Aquino? Di ba dapat tanggalin sila kasi binigyan nila ng kahihiyan ang UAAP? Suspended lang po sila. Tsaka hello? Alam mo ba na tumaas ang TV Ratings ng NCAA dahil sa CSB? Pati ticket sales and attendance records. Mas nagiging civilized and NCAA dahil sa CSB. St. Francis will join NCAA probably 2003. Hindi pa kasi tapos yung mga deliberations kung sasali nga sila ng NCAA or what. Parang judgment period nila ngayon. Dumaan din CSB dun e.

I'd say that the DLSU-College of Saint Benilde plays a major role in the NCAA which makes it more exciting and challenging for the other schools. I'm sure that most colleges in the NCAA are againts CSB, we boost up the NCAA. The Blazers simply.... well.... gets other people's attention. I'm sure the DLSU-Green Archers are too in the UAAP.

There is no way that the College of Saint Benilde be rejected. What's their sufficient evidence? aber....

Matagal na namang natsitsismis iyan eh. Last year pa. At saka it's pretty obvious naman na mayroon ngang gustong maalis ang CSB sa NCAA. For what reason? I don't know. Pero ang daming instances during the last season na talagang parang hinahanapan nila ng mali ang CSB. I won't get into this in detail. People know this... Di ba Supreme and Khaki?

Please get your facts straight first. In the case of Garcia and Gatumbato, CSB tried to interpret the rules with their own version. Everybody knows that the NCAA requires a 3 year residency for its players before they can play in the PBL. CSB has not yet reached 3 years when those 2 played in the PBL so logically they haven't met the residency requirements yet. It's a case of LaSallian arrogance at work because I believe Henry Atayde should have known of this. Just like Danny Jose and co. should have known that Sharma is serving a 1 year residency with LaSalle therefore he shouldn't have been allowed to play in the NCRAA for LaSalle yet.

As usual, marami nanamang inggit at naghahanap ng butas sa kampyon ng NCAA! Pero ok lang, bago pa lang sumali ang Benilde sa NCAA eh puro na lang sampal sa mukha tinatanggap at batas ng mga hoodlum ang pinairal. Humble naman kami pero lalaban kami kung mali na ang trato nila sa amin! Naalala niyo ba ang manyakis ng Letran? Pati pananamit ng cheerleaders eh pinakikialaman nila pero naglinis sila ng kamay nung minanyak nung letran player isang cheerleader namin? and pare, tiga csb ka ba?, just asking kase, i got the info sa isang admin sa sports office. kaya alam ko ang nangyayari.

D1: Let's just say I am closely associated sa athletics dept ng CSB. Yung 3 yrs e probationary period yun. Meaning pag na-suspend kayo for something that you did e pwede kayong matanggal or ma-suspend for a year or more. Yung sa case ng CSB with sina Gatumbato, hindi naman sila nakalaro na and, correct me if I'm wrong, pero hindi ba at na-forefeit na yung won games na naglaro sina Gatumbato, etc. Di kaya sila pwedeng basta-basta tanggalin kasi paid up pa yung subsidized capital for 10 years. Kung sino man yung source mo e baka yan ang tatanggalin. Peace din pare ko!

Yeah, I guess thats why, CSB didnt even make it anywhere in the PYBL. Well as Ateneo Pioneer made it to the Semifinals of the Regular PBL and even won several games in the semis. :lol: Ateneo didnt make it to the finals, but at least, they were able to slug it out with the BEST of the PBL. Unlike the "so-called" NCAA champions who lost against much weaker opponents in the less prestigious PYBL. I doubt if CSB would even stand a chance against the Chester Tolomia, and Gilbert Malabanan led, Shark Energy Kings. Lucky 2times? No Way! :lol:

Hoy mahiya-mahiya ka naman. Isipin mo na lang na yung ATENEO/PIONEER e intact yung line-up nila from the team that played sa UAAP. E dinagdagan pa nga ng ibang players from other schools e. E yung CSB, yung ibang players nila e hindi na naglaro sa PYBL kasi kinuha ng ibang PBL teams. E alam mo ba yun? Tsaka alam mo ba na nag-resign yung isang assistant coach nila na nag-iimplement ng defensive plays kaya parang napilayan sila dun sa PYBL. This ex-assistant coach was the head coach ng Crystal Spring Water which also played sa PYBL. I believe CSB played in the PYBL and in NBL at the same time (Healthy Options/CSB). The team was divided into two, some of the players which played sa NCAA played sa PYBL, yung iba sa NBL. For experience yun. E Ateneo, intact na nga line-up, nagdagdag pa, di man lang naka-champion. Nakakahiya. Tama nga yung sabi sa ibang thread, Whining Losers ang mga taga-ATENEO! :p

Excuse Me Ruckus!!! We manage to place 3rd in the PYBL considering the fact that 3 players including championship MVP Mark Magsumbol was injured during most of the conference. Getting third is way better than not placing at all.

as far as i know, csb is still under the 3 years probation of NCAA but it doesnt mean that the NCAA committee will have to throw them out just like that. They should have a valid reason for such action. & i dont think they have a good reason for pushing CSB out of the league.... maybe its all just pure and plain insecurities......

Considered regular member na Benilde by the start of the next season. Baka naghahanap lang ng butas ang mga yan habang probi pa CSB?! Siguraduhin lang nila na valid yang reason nila kung hindi, mahabang issue yan tulad nung na-harass isang pep ng Benilde na yun. Umabot yun sa puntong pinipigilan na nilang pagusapan ang isyu na yun dito sa pex kasi nakakasira sa pangalan ng liga din yun. Sige, hayaan lang natin silang maghanap ng loophole sa atin muli at kung mali nanaman yan eh lalangawin ang liga na yan pag umalis tayo. The pen is always mightier than the sword. :smokin:

My friend from SDO told me that March 20 pa daw the voting for this issue... we have to get 4 out of 7 votes to be permanent in the NCAA.

Hoy altarboy, nadalaw ako recently nung naging teammate ko dun sa Team B nung school ng player na nang-harass sa pep. Naalala mo yun? Sabi nya e baka daw i-suspend yung player na yun this coming season. Di daw nila na-suspend for a whole season last year kasi wala na silang pamalit sa line-up. E ngayon daw madami na silang player na pamalit dun kaya baka ma-suspend daw sya ngayon season.

anyway, as early as now, they should start practicing harder kasi I know that Baste is practicing na for the Opening para matalo nila tayo. :D
