Here are the types of ventures you can get into.
>
> 1) Merchandising (this is the feild i know)
> 2) Franchise (small companies such as kiss)
> 4) Small corporations (With credible investors)
> 5) Partnership (With a credible partner)
> 6) Stock market (VERY RISKY though but you can earn big too)
7) Network Marketing (this is something new to us)
Here are the products that I personally recommend:
>
> 1) Rice
> 2) LPG
> 3) Destilled water
> 4) Any daily consumable product (shampoo, toothpaste, etc)
> 5) Health products (dietary, vitamins, health drinks, etc)
>
> the top three are neccessities while the remaining 2 are accesories
>that we need today, "SA PANAHON NGAYON BAWAL MAGKASAKIT", and we do need to wash, bathe, and brush right.
You decide what to do with your money but first ask yourself this:
1) Am I really decided to put up my own business?
2) Am I ready? ---> means do you have the proper knowledge, tools, skills, connections for manpower and extra/fast cash/credit.
3) Am I ready to commit myself to do business in the long term and do what ever it takes to succed in business?
and read this topic:
Personally I forsee businesses that has capital below P 1M would likely fold in 2005. Why? Simple import duties will be removed and the Philippines would me more open to foriegn investors and more people would lose jobs as old businesses closes to give way to other businesses. How did I came up with that? Let's look at it this way in a pond there are many kinds and sizes of fishes right. Lets just say the sizes of the pond determines thier economic status and the size of the fishes determine thier business activities. Now imagine an underdeveloped country pond competition would be from both small fishes right, now imagine a developing country pond the competition would be between BIG fish and small fish, and a developed country would now be against both big fishes. Now what does it mean? We are a developing country which means the battle for supremacy would be between companies with international and/or with peso/dollar millions of capital ans small scale businessmen. So who will it be to survive?
We must keep ourselves updated about this things, like the wallmart issue, so much so that businessmen must keep a sharp look-out for other opportunities and always be opne-minded. My business also runs the same problem as with other businessmen BUT we have a weapon as a last resort INNOVATION but this last resort is very costly. By that time also there wont be much businesses to go into but distribution and franchise for us small scale busienessmen, personally I would chose distribution.
The dilema we are facing now are former problems of the US before they became a developed country so we are undergoing the same thing we are now developing for the long term gains not for the short term gains.
Now the question is: Have you realized what lies ahead of you? Are you really ready? Answer this questions. Think it over long and hard then decide.
