What is your favorite NCAA moments for this year?From SBC MBT winning third straight title to SSCR WVT winning 4th straight title, post your favorite NCAA moment for this year.

For me the exciting playoffs of NCAA MBT then SSC dominance in WVT and siyempre the never ending controversies in the NCAA basketball.

Who can also forget that Jake Pascual almost did not play for this season? One of SBC's heroes during Red Lions playoff run. In game 1 of the finals Jake Pascual hitting a 3 pointer of the board that seals them the game.

San Beda's OT win over Letran in the end of 2nd round, Borgie Hermida's Buzzer Beater. There is also an OT win over SSC-R in 1st Round, I think it was a Monday game.

Oh, and CSB Pep Squad lands 3rd place in the Cheering Competition! The first time the cheering squad attained a decent ranking since the competition started. Yehey! :D

And how ironic that in that game, Ekwe didn't play much but San Beda still managed to win over Letran. E di nasagot din ang tanong nila "WITHOUT EKWE, S'AN BEDA?".

Kaya gustong makapasok ng Finals ni Louie Alas para maka-rematch sa San Beda.

Mapua and JRU are the only team who beat SBC twice kaso Red Lions won the biggest games nga lang against both teams. Clearly, coach Isaac outsmarted coach Lim doon kaso Red Lions' talents and size were too much for the Cardinals. By the way SBC booted out Mapua 3 straight years sa final four. For me NCAA best moments ko din pala ang SBC men's volleyball dominating the standings only to be swept by Letran sa finals.

What made it more memorable is KDP's effort to win in the Final Four, he gave everything he got but it's just not enough against the Lions. You can really feel for him because it seems he wanted it badly.

yup. and it's actually nice that supporters from the other team like you recognize and appreciate the effort. not just by KDP but by the other Cardinals who tried to put up a good fight against a more talented RL team.*okay*

more than KDP's numbers, it is his attitude and leadership skills which will be sorely missed by the Cardinals come the next NCAA wars. I just hope someone will step-up big time to fill the void that the King Cardinal's departure has created. Mangahas? Banal? or probably a rookie player? abangan. :)

But the "crucifixion" after the protest was memorable too! Not to mention the other conspiracy theories that developed from Ekwe not wearing the proper uniform. And imagine that, after a year of coaching for the Blazers, Gee Abanilla leaves us and we have another year of surprises with Richard Del Rosario at the coaching helm. Seems like we're in for another round of kangkungan! :laugh:

14-0 sa standings ang SSC WVT kaya free ride sila sa finals plus 2-0 pa sa series. overall 16-0 sila sa NCAA tournament.

Memorable din sakin last year is the time that almost all of the NCAA captains of the band and some cheering squad officers met for one night of fun and merry-making. :D

San Beda vs. Mapua. I never thought Mapua could play that well. And also, I saw Mapua's drive(Kevin's heart was there).

San Beda vs. JRU(finals). It was memorable for the reason that Bedans are just so "into the game." The atmosphere is different and the Bedan crowd is so friendly.

CSB vs. SSC(CSB's last game). It was a tight game and also, team CSB played very well that day, they almost won!

About the Beda Bading tulo laway kay Jose Rizal, that's not really nice. I don't think one can be proud of that.

I really hope that 2009 will be different. Sana lumabas yung pagiging educated ng NCAA schools...
