Kerastase, L'Oreal Professional, L'Oreal Elseve, Schwarzkopf, Opal, St. Ives Mud Miracle, Cream Silk (the blue tub), Pantene 3 minute miracle et al.
Everyone is raving about Kerastase but the price is pretty steep for a conditioner. According to the David's salon girl, Kerastase and L'Oreal professional deliver the same performance. A 200/250 ml/gm tub of masqueintense costs 2k+ while the L'Oreal professional intense repair of the same size costs 850 (their 500ml tub costs 1.7k) so the price difference is big. A beauty blog claims that Elseve which retails at 300+ per 250ml tub delivers 70% of what Kerastase can do. It's a no brainer then to go for Elseve (and I did haha)
Right now I have Opal and Elseve. I've tried the mud miracle and the cream silk blue tub - they were thicker than regular conditioners but they weighed my hair down, didn't really condition it much. Admittedly Opal and Elseve are a notch higher in terms of moisturizing my hair but if Elseve delivers 70% of what Kerastase can do then I'm not looking forward to much.
I haven't tried the Pantene 3 minute thingy, I mean it sounds too incredulous honestly (and it ain't cheap at 100 per tube).
Ladies (and gents) please post your reviews of the deep conditioning home treatments you've tried so that the guile and naive mortals like me may be set on the right path to a glorious crowning glory :D
