How do you properly measure the thigh?

you should've posted this in the raw denim thread, anyway.. i usually just a pick a point in-between the waist and the knee. unless the cut is really slim, i'm not very concerned with the thighs that much.

Thigh is usually measured 2 inches below the "crotch seam crossing".

I just made that term up.
