Just bought BALLINA slippers at 50% off. These are my first Brazilian slippers i bought because aside from its on sale iam very curious with the way Pinoys buy these expensive flip flops. Well even at 50% still more expensive than that of Bench.

Are these Brazilian slippers really superior/comfortable/heavy duty compared to the regular slippers? Its just my first night tonight - so you can consider my feet virgin from these Brazilian slippers;) how do i feel? Its a bit lighter and ok but other than that i feel no difference.

i'm using Grendha.. and sobrang light lang niya..nice design..:D i've been using it for more than 7mos now(if i'm not mistaken) and parang hindi siya napupudpod..ganun pa din ichura niya except na mejo dark na..pero pag nilinis, babalik ulit sa dating color.. mejo expensive nga lang talaga sila..pero for me, super worth it..

yung havaianas napupudpod..

hindi ko masasabing superior depende pa din kasi.. pero worth it..*okay*

Maybe they're not really the best, they will all break sooner or later especially if you use it everyday. I like Ipanema flip-flops though. They're soft and very comfortable. I've sworn off havaianas because the straps give my feet "rubber burn". some of my friends had the same experience with havaianas too. Nakakaitim ng paa.

Ayun naman pala..

I was considering buying these expensive slippers eh okay naman pala yung islander...

I bought banana peel, mura pero after 3-5 months nadudulas na ako... Try ko nga yung islander..

Ang dami sa divisoria and even sa supermarkets super cheap pero same performance din compared sa branded.

Nadala lang ng hype ng Havaianas ang tsinelas from Brazil.

Even our local slippers now come with printed soles.

pardon my ignorance but is havaianas brazilian? bec. if it is, i don't know what superiority it holds over others, local ones included.

speaking from my own experience, the strap of these slippers break easily. my last 2 pairs lasted just a measly 5 months despite light usage (i just use them at home and just during night time).

and since they cost a pretty penny (my last pair set me back P1200.00), i don't think they are worth it.

Brazilian daw. Pero kahit saang lupalop pa gawa yun regular tsinelas pa rin na kapag natapakan o nahatak ang sipit ng sobra-sobra ay nasisira.

Basta ako pwede na sa akin yung tsinelas sa supermarket or palengke.
