Our christmas party theme is cross dressed characters. I was assigned as jack sparrow. Pls give me ideas on how to come up with a costume, or where i could rent one which will fit me (the whole ensemble-wig,costume,boots,accessories/props), so that i won't have a hard time thinking.
Or if you have ideas on how to do it myself, pls share.
I found on a website on how to make boots out of old shoes, do you know where i could buy suede material?
i only got 2 weeks.

I have worn the jack sparrow outfit before in a school event. Tingnan mo muna ng maigi ang pictures ni Jack para accurate ang ensemble mo.
What you could do is rummage your house and an ukay-ukay store to get what you need.
You need:
a long sleeved button-down blouse (since you're a girl) or shirt. Scrunch the sleeves tapos roll them up in a very bad way to get the pirate effect.
a black vest or what I did is get a cheap black button-down sa ukay-ukay and cut the sleeves off.
Bandanna simliar to what JS is wearing (dept store or ukay ukay) adorned with beaded strings. Get some brown yarn, insert some cheap wooden beads and clip to your hair and cover with the bandanna.
A pair of dark grey trousers
Black boots. Im a guy and I used boots worn by the police. Yung mga hagad na may motorbike sa lansangan. Perfect for the outfit. Pero dahil babae ka, I dunno if that's an option. Try again sa ukay-ukay.
A brown, over-sized belt to be worn over the vest. Mas luma, mas ok.
And finally, the eyeliner. :D
Hope this helps. If I can find a picture of myself in the JS outfit, post ko dito.
