UST's crowd is powerful as I've been told.

San Sebastian went for their Go La Salle beat/cheer instead of their usual Go USTe beat/cheer.

pepman: if you're really from a UAAP school and Ateneo as you claim you are from, you should know those little tidbits.

Roces played for UST the last conference they joined and she was in the championship team. She played well this year for San Sebastian getting her the MVP award.

Roces is a great guest player. She has won a V-League championship for UST. If I'm not mistaken, she also won the Finals MVP for this present conference. That's what you can consider an Amazon Voyager.

I can't believe Baste "reverted" back to their "Go La Salle/Go UE" cheer. This is actually their chance to show Uste that the "Go Usteee" beat is not exclusively theirs to keep. Baste doesn't necessarily need to wave those yellow balloons in cheering "Go Basteee". This is really shocking. Anyway, Baste's championship is not at all shocking. It has been long overdue.:)

Yup! Mawawala na si latigay and devanadera next season sa NCAA, pero sa Collegiate Championship of Shakey's V-league, andun pa rin sila sa line up next season. According to coach Gorayeb, target nila is Back to Back title.... :)

Yup! Maglalaro pa rin yata siya e, last season na yata niya sa ncaa next year. I would have to agree! Mary Jane Pepito is really hot! Hehehe, ang cute niya lalo na pag ngumingiti! Sana dumami na rin ang NCAA member school ang maglaro sa Shakey's v-league, hindi lang baste and benilde :) Sana may Letran, Jru, San Beda, Mapua, UPHDS na rin! Kasi karamihan UAAP e.. Eto ang parang PCC ng basketball, collegiate championship din kasi ang V-League at dumarami na rin ang nanonood sa kanila. :)

They said na pinapasok sa v-league ay yung top 5 ng UAAP volleyball then 2 finalists from NCAA and others are champions from other volleyball league such as WNCAA...

Oo nga e, parang unfair e diba? Sabagay, nun napanood ko kasi yung v-league itong recent na season, yung benilde walang panalo, considering na pangalawa sila sa NCAA womens division. Pero sa UAAp, yung limang teams nila halos contender silang lahat. Sana palakasin din ng ibang NCAA teams ang volleyball nila, para dumami na rin ang NCAA teams sa v-league :) Baste is on their way to 5 peat! :)

UAAP kasi televised yung games compared to NCAA na hindi kaya siyempre yung v-league tarhet nila yung schools na alam nila tataas ang market sales nila eh. SSC nga hindi pa nga ganun ka sikat sa volleyball ngayon eh.

I beg to disagree. Pumunta ka sa site ng shakeys v-league ang daming fans ng Baste dun (nakakagulat nga pati nasa province na hindi mga sebastinian e sumusuporta sila), and siyempre UST ang sikat kasi mostly ng national team kahit dati pa e dun talaga kinukuha. And isa pa nakilala na ang Baste sa Volleyball, yung appearance nga lang nila na 3 beses sa v-league e marami ng nakapansin, kahit hindi nila nakuha yun. Kaya nung time na nila this season e maraming sumuporta sa kanila, finally! Diba? I think NCAA should be proud kasi napatunayan ng NCAA na kaya rin natin magkaroon ng title sa mga collegiate championship na ganito :)

yeah sa fan sites but sa sponsors and support medyo sablay kapag galing sa NCAA schools for v-league. anyway sana dumating yung time na yung v-league maging 5 UAAP schools and 5 NCAA schools soon. I think UAAP and NCAA volleyball are more exciting than v-league pa din. I'm a big fan of both volleyball leagues but not v-league because for me v-league is like PBL for me.

Yeah you're right! Maganda rin ang UAAP & NCAA, pero for me, mas maganda ang laban sa v-league, kasi lahat ng magagaling na schools andun diba? Kumbaga, best of the best, kaya mag expect ka ng magandang laban, unlike sa UAAP lang & NCAA may mga underdogs na tinatawag yun kumbaga ineexpect mo na yun ang panalo. Tignan mo na lang sa NCAA, almost sweep ng baste ang standings before sila mag enter ng finals, or sweep yata. E sa V-league, hindi mo alam kung sino magchachampion kasi lahat contender e. Mas maganda ang ang action at may thrill :)

hindi rin kasi they allowing to get guest and an alumna player so still you can't recognize which school is the best. Will SSC be the defending v-league without the help of Roces? Will UST be that strong in v-league without Bernal and Balse? sa UAAP nga nawala lang yung double B hirap na sila eh. Kaya nga for me v-league can't duplicate the excitement of college volleyball eh. That's why PBL ang tingin ko sa v-league.

Ahh, sabagay may point ka dun. Pero alam mo sakin ok lang yun kasi yung mga alumna guest player sa kanila na iimprove ang laro ng mga rookies sa court. Diba? Parang motivation sa mga rookie yung mga guest player nila. About dun sa sinabi mo kung ssc ang pinaka malakas kahit wlang guest player? Sa tingin ko "oo", kasi kapag napanood mo yung games 1 & 2, suzxane roces is a big help for SSC, but marami ring ginawa ang mga SSC players tala, like Latigay & Devanadera! Andun pa si Benito! Unlike sa UST si maizo lang yata, lahat dumedepende kay balse and bernal. Sa tingin ko, SSC pa rin ang ang magchachampion nun, kahit wala si roces. Kumbaga additional help na lang si roces.

Mga Sebastinians support din natin ang volleyball team natin, ang mga Lady Stags! We are the team to beat this coming season... Nakita ko sa site ng Shakeys V-league mismo na malakas ang line up ng Dela Salle University this coming season, pati na rin ang Ateneo De Manila University! Both teams are still intacked! sa UST naman medyo nag struggle pa sila kasi karamihan rookies din..
