I wish the Department of Tourism c/o Sec. Gordon and the National Historical Commission would re-examine the policies being imposed in the rehabilitation of the city. Mukhang di epektib ang restoration projects na ginagawa doon. Sayang talaga ang Intramuros kapag patuloy na napabayaan:(

Yes, me too. Looking at how the past tourism and IA people messed up the Walls makes me wanna cry.

and btw, what restoration? I dont think there's even a process going on. All they do is build anything that looks like a tacky-turn-of-the-century-wannabe w/c is really out of context with the 'original' Intramuros structures.

As far as I know, the best restoration job ever done inside Intramuros was to its walls that were done in the 80s. Unfortunately, it was messed up by some stupid, selfish and inconsiderate people.
