guys am planning to invest on stocks. i want to make something good and productive so stocks could be it. anyway, can anyone help me out? like telling me any good brokers for newbies like me or what is a good deal. also, can anyone share to me how to get started? thanks guys!

i was an analyst for 4 years befor i gave it up. if you plan to buy stocks intending to keep the certificates in your wedding chest, chances are the issues will be worth 1/10 the price you bought them for by the time you remember to take them out. that's a misconception, you see. the only way to get rich in the stock market is to really trade. you have to be right there, react fast enough to any price movements, not to be too greedy, not to invest any more than you're willing to lose, and to keep a sense of humor. wouldn't hurt to try it, though. half-day lang naman. any broker will do as long as he's someone you can trust and his house maintains a research group.
