my american best friend got promoted recently in her job, and i was thinking of sending a package, to congratulate her. the problem is, i don't know what to; knowing her, she really would want something exotic and extraordinary, and the best thing i know she would appreciate is a native product, that is exclusively available in the philippines only! any suggestion there? :D btw, i'm from manila, so it would be hard to get local products in far places like iloilo or zamboanga. :o

Your friend should be the one treating you since she was the one who got promoted and not you. A card will be enough. But if you really want to send her package/gift, what would be your price range?

well, let's just say the conservative values in me sort of, well you know what i mean... :*) not being chauvinistic, just being sweet. :sweet: the maximum price would be around Php 5,000 (still in college, so not that much yet). :o

How about parol (lantern) made of locally manufactured materials. It's being sold in Filipino stores in the states but very expensive.
