malaking katanungan would the drafted players play their normal game. kasi kung ako ang kamag anak nila. ang advice ko sa kanila hinay hinay lang sa laro sayang ang kikitain mong pera at ambition mong maglaro sa PBA kapag na injury ka. sa hirap ng buhay ngayon malaking tulong ang makapaglaro ka bilang pro. unless kaya kang swelduhan ng school or alumni ng school nang ganun kalaki.

dapat kasi hindi muna nag pa draft habang naglalaro pa sa ncaa, kasi unfair sa school and PBA teams. meron player na ka focus na sa PBA meron naman ang utak na sa ncaa pa rin. you can't serve two masters at the same time.

I can't believe the pay in the pro basketball is really that high... i mean, they are really overpaid. Considering that they are not doing anything productive to our country, except for entertaining gays and basketball fanatics, and paying taxes na rin, they should not be paid that high. They can not even make it to the olympics, and no way being the best in Asia. Well, sabi nga, life is unfair.

there's something called crab mentality, you should look it up. or you can opt to work harder to earn more money rather than whining about others good fortune.

I'd rather sell my body to others so that I can easily have a brand new car also like those players.

Just to share my view. A drafted ncaa player is not allowed to sign PBA contract until the tournament is over otherwise that makes him a pro hence ineligible for the rest of the ncaa tourney. I dont know if PBA has minimum salary provision depending on draft position just like in the NBA but if that is the case then me impact yan sa player especially if the drafted player feel he was drafted too low. Better play 101% for the rest of the season so you will have more bargaining power come contract negotiation. Otherwise, the basketball club can easily say... "nagkalat ka naman sa ncaa after the draft, minimum contract ka lang dapat. take it or leave it."

Correct.
Anyway, mahirap din naman na araw-araw puro basketball lang ang ite-training mo... practice, game, practice... parang hindi ko maimagine kung papano masusustain nito ang mga intellectual needs ng 1 tao... anyway, nagyayabang lang ako.
I just hope these new players (kahit yung ibang oldies na rin) ay maging Olympians balang araw. Masaya na ako na makapasok sila sa Olympics kahit mangulelat sila doon. Pag nangyari yon, 1 buwang libreng fish balls at balot sila sa akin!
Good luck to the new batch of players... and please pay your taxes!!!
