Just like the name says - all about dress shirts.
I'm actually looking for slim fit / modern fit dress shirts? Something like a 31/13 maybe? Anyone know where I can get some?
Also, any place in the metro na may maraming pagpipilian? Where do you shop for dress shirts? Price range?
Also, ano ba ang magandang tela for Manila weather?

Marks & Spencer has decent (but not great) shirts at a reasonable price (P1.2k-P1.6k). Unfortunately they are not slim fitting for most people.
I take it you're a 13 neck, 31 sleeve? I have a couple of shirts in M&S smallest size which is a 14.5/32 unfortunately, and the chest on that is around 21" wide while my actual chest is 34".
I'm actually in the process of having a custom shirt done from Mytailor.com (http://www.mytailor.com/). I measured myself and submitted the measurements online to their rep in the US. The actual factory is in Hong Kong, and the shirt will be shipping out from there to Manila.

zara has slim fitting shirts, topman has nice designs but the quality is crap. other places i shop for dress shirts would be celio and G2000. if there's a sale you could get dress shirts for less than 1k. another shop that has nice dress shirts for the office would be van heusen.

Saw a couple of Uberto Duranti shirts, it says slim fit but still not fit enough on the sleeves.
I'm thinking having them custom-made locally? Any suggestion?
TIA

Try Dansen slimfit dress shirts. Price starts from P500 if I'm not mistaken. I didn't encounter any problems with the sleeves like I did with Uberto Duranti shirts.

The mytailor.com shirt arrived early this week, but it wasn't as slim as I wanted it to be. I consulted with the mytailor head honcho Joe H. and made arrangements for it to be altered so it's on its way back to HK now.

^^@ auricularis: where do I get Dansen shirts?
Yep, I think I'm about a 13 sleeve, 31 neck - though the smallest I;ve found are about 14/32's - and iba-iba pa rin ang fit sa akin.
I even have 2 CK slim fit ones, same size, but one is significantly larger than the other. Meron bang slim fit for Big and tall? hehe.
I thought of doing custom ones before, forgot which site I looked them up, mostly from the UK yata, and I think it came up to about $100/shirt, much more than I'm willing to spend :D
How about local manila tailors willing to do custom dress shirts? Meron ba? I don't need ultra-premium stuff, just a good fit, no pockets, yun lang naman ang hanap ko sa dress shirt eh.

The 14 is the neck, 32 is the sleeve (actually, shoulder+sleeve). Is 13 your neck measurement or collar? Tailors usually add 1 inch allowance to your skin measurement in the collar.

HK online tailors are cheaper. Jantzen (http://www.jantzentailor.com) does shirts for around $40 depending on the fabric, but they're known to be unreliable when it comes to delivery. Mytailor.com is 100% reliable but costs a bit more ($60+).

I'm sure most tailors can do a shirt to your specs. Good luck finding good shirting fabric locally though.

No. Although you find many with pockets, they ruin the look.

I got my MyTailor shirt yesterday, after sending the first attempt back to them for alterations. It fits MUCH better now. I'll be tweaking the pattern only slightly (around 0.5"-1" less in the waist, shorter collar tips) for my next order.
