Organized cheerleading?
Ateneo daw sabi ng mga atenista and, indeed, there is still no evidence to the contrary.

I think Ateneo and Letran kasi sila yung rival dati sa Intramuros, maybe nung La Liga Catolica pa; and very hostile ang mga students nila sa isa't isa.
Isa pa ang UP.

^this was already answered on one of the forums in the UAAP. Ateneo was the first to organize a cheering squad in the ealy 20s before the NCAA was inagurated. And it was followed by La Salle in 1924 but established the squad in an organized way only in 1926 by its original name, "Yell Commanders".
ANIMO LA SALLE!
Keep the Faith.
