I admit when I first graduated from high school, i thought of csb as a school for brainlesss and clueless people, considering that i came from DLSZ, thats surprising being a lasallian and all. i transferred to csb from UP Los Banos, with the same perception and bias...but as time went by...(parang song...)I realized that those labels(bobo and kickouts, etc...) were unjustified, csb has courses not found in other school:evil:for example...Human Resource Management, Export Mgt...and so on. Puro specialization courses...so how could you say that were morons when we're actually taking up courses that people take for their Masters Degree, if anyone's a MORON, it'll have to be the people who try to stick these labels at the studentsof csb without knowing anything about our school...freakin' unfair, pare...:silly::evilgrin:

Graduate ako ng Benilde and I'm proud of it. CSB molded me into the best person I can be. I gained my self-confidence in CSB knowing that it is one of the best schools in PI. What more can I say? CSB is simply the best!!!!!!!!

i'm from benilde and i admit that there are students who are a bit tamad, but that doesnt make them stupid or bobo!
intelligence cannot be measured only by how fast one can memorize a formula or answer a math problem but it can be measured by how WELL one can use his talents best. benilde specializes in art, music, fashion, cuisines, etc and that's where most of the students in benilde are good at and that's what they CHOOSE to study and to make use of their talents.

and dont generalize that all benilde students are bagsak from other schools. there are actually students who don't think about the reputation of the school but they think about the specialty of the school and which school can offer what they want. i for one, passed dlsu - com sci but i chose not to study there because i like cooking better so i studied in benilde nalang (hrim)

so there...i just hope that people dont think of benilde students as bobo, no IQ or whatsoever because it's really not like that...and there are also other things more important than intelligence you know...you may have all the brains but you can't relate naman to the real world, so wala rin, sayang lahat ng pinagaralan mo.

I am a proud graduate of CSB I won't be where I am right now if I studied in other colleges or even in Main..CSB has a different way of developing their students....I think it is how the student applies what he learned that makes a difference. Hi guys! Im an incoming 2nd year student of CSB taking up AB-MMA (Multimedia Arts).

I just want to comment on those negative things that have been said on some of the replies- I think totoo naman yung tapunan ng mga bagsak from main or other schools ang CSB, BUT that is a long time ago, sa ngayon hindi na pinapayagan yang mga ganyan na pumasok sa CSB. Then the bobo thingy, di totoo iyan, y? coz la namang taong bobo na ginawa ang Diyos diba, its just that some are just too lazy to study. Ika nga, don't judge the book by it's cover. St. Benilde is a college where you can find special courses, like fashion design, hotel and restaurant management, multimedia arts, export management, industrial design and a lot more, which other schools dont offer, but SOME do.

Benildeans are so mabait, down to earth, and a lot more. Although I admit it meron ngang mga maarte or pa-konyo, but that's just it and wala na tayong magagawa pa sa mga taong ganyan, lets just accept them. So thats it.

College of Saint Benilde (I've named it this way because some students from La Salle Main are very much affected if we add the name "De La Salle University", they love excluding us, fine) is one college in the Philippines that has its own share of strengths and weaknesses - JUST LIKE ANY OTHER UNIVERSITY. Perhaps some outsiders are ultimately proud of their schools because the best minds of the country were produced in age-old institutions and the excellent curricula their school offers; while for Benilde, we're still a young institution compared UP, UST, Ateneo, or La Salle Main, or San Beda. If there are so many things that they can be proud of, Benilde also has its own achievements to be remembered with. If there are so many skeletons in the closet to be kept hidden by these prestigious institutions, Benilde also has its own.

My ever-favorite Epal King-

Let's forget the "conyo" perception first because it is NOT OUR FAULT that our parents are able to send us in CSB, that we dress with these kinds of clothing, that we are just privileged to be given our own cars, that we are accustomed to luxury and that we are just materially blessed. It is neither the fault of our parents for treating us that way.

We do recognize some 'intellectual insufficiencies' our classmates or schoolmates show sometimes. However, that is no longer our problem. As long as we're doing our best in our academics and extracurricular activities, we strive hard to be the best persons that we can be (intellectual, psychological, emotional, and spiritual), we have established good relations with other people, and we don't have a tainted reputation, that is already enough.

Let me share what I have learned in Benilde: NEVER DRAW A CONCLUSION WHEN IT'S ALL BASED ON HEARSAYS, LACKING EXPERIENCES, INSUFFICIENT EVIDENCES, AND PURE BIAS.

People say that CSB people are bobo but its not true. I know some who passed Main but would rather go to Benilde because of the different courses offered.
