As a Red Lion fan, Im very much aware of the damage that Baste can bring with the San Beda team. I just hope the Red Lions will show the winning character and should remain HUNGRY for the win.

Well the advantages of San Beda is that they are a champion team, and if you will look in the court and on paper talent wise they have it. And even in the college rankings they are most favorable.

On the other hand the advantages of Baste is that they are unpredictable, thus they don't have a reliable go to guy. They prove it already that they can win games even ballesteros or viray not scoring in double figures because somebody out there will step up. And also their effective zone defense.

Ok Let's see, This will be a nice game on Wednesday. Who Knows it might be a preview of the Finals.

offensively and defensively san beda are on top over ssc but the thing is unpredictable ang plays ng baste. who would have thought na 2 beses kme matatalo ng baste amp! (JRU)

pero sa game na to. hands down to san beda kung matatambakan nila to!

^^statswise i think lamang ang stags sa defense, mas mababa ang scoring output ng games nila.

The stags showed that they can win even if Viray would score only 3 or four points. pero against the RL, he definitely should bring his "A" game to win agains the RL.
The stags doesnt really play one-on-one defense, so its not a match-up of man-to-man defense/defender. the stags strength is their team defense. ballesteros is not the sole defender for the stags, its the whole team that plays defense.

Kung nanuod kayo nung game ng Baste tsaka CSB, bago magsimula *** game, sbi nung commentator, Baste daw ang best defensive team this season, so sila ang nagsbi nun, meaning may source sila ok? Kaya tama na yang debate nyo. Pero xempre, *** number 1 tayo sa defense, hnd malayo ang Beda dun, xaka madami clang player na pd umiscor. Tsaka ang alam ko, kapag tie ang Baste, JRU, Mapua, Letran. JRU ata ang matatanggal kc kulang *** sa quotient eh. Pero hnd ko sigurado ha. :D

If letran losses 1 of its 2 remaining games (and MIT wins its last game), then there will be a tie for the last F4 slot. Eh may tulog kayo against the Cards. Remember, they blasted your team last time out.

Worse, if letran losses its 2 remaining games (and MIT wins its last game), then you're out of the F4. ;)

Kung na shoot sana yung 3pointer, OT sana. Hehe! Kaso masyadong minadali ng Stags, nataranta din, hindi man lang nag set. :D Madami pa naman yung natirang oras. :D Tsaka gusto ko yung pinakitang defense ng Baste. Kunwari, na screen si Ballesteros tapos jujumpshot na si Ekwe, kahit sila Raymundo, Maconocido, Bulawan, Delgado, yung mga small men ng Baste, sumasabay parin. D katulad nung iba na kapag jujump si Ekwe eh tataasan lang nila ng kamay, feeling nila madidistract sya dun. :D

Hindi naman po, infact, hindi nga masyadong factor si Viray kahapon, 7 points lang sya, madami lang talagang nag step up katulad nila Raymundo at Delgado. Pero syempre, malaking factor talaga si Viray sa Stags. Kung naaalala ko pa, kasama ata sya dun sa Baste-Letran Finals noon. Kung ganon, sya lang talaga ang may experience. ;)
