INTRAMUROS - new gimik place?

What can you say about the place?! Meron kase against don sa "renovation" or "conversion" nung place. But I think <in my opinion>, okei lang naman! Before daw kse binabahayan lang ng mga adik, pero ngayon... ganda na! :)

They are destroying the cultural value of the place. it's sick!

I think it's all right for these new places to be popping up along intramuros for the following reasons:

1. It increases the "tourist appeal" of the place.
2. They maintain the cleanliness of the place.

And as long as they don't damage the walls or anything else, I'm okay with them being there.

Chiqui I can no longer help but agree with you that it increases "tourist appeal" to the place. But they are damaging the walls and it's original structure. They are replacing it with a similar look to provide the same historical atmosphere of the place. And the thing is, if they continue to restructure the place, the original architecture and design is in a lot of danger coz it weakens the original support of the place. So what's the use of "tourist appeal" if the original structure is being damaged for profit. ;)

been wanting to visit Mas Y Mas. Sabi nila minsan daw parang may soap/ bubbles something...i'm sorry..i really don't know. for those who have watched boys and girls, is it any way familiar to the gimik forlani and prinze had there. sobrang gusto ko kasi pumunta sa ganun.

please tell me naman kung ano ang gimik sa Mas Y Mas at kung kelan yung parang shower-soap whatever disco?

the thing you're referring to like what was on Boys & Girls is a foam party :cool: yup, they had 1 like that before. my friend really wanted to go coz we saw that movie din & it really looked like fun. she was askin me to go but i couldn't make it :( anyway, she went but it wasn't that great daw..better nung di foam party. i suggest you try the place! ;)

Are they already? I last heard that they deny doing any damage or replacements of the original walls. If that's the case, then I'm no longer for these places. :(

Yep! Chiqui, the developers deny all those accusations. They are good in hiding the damages they've already done to the place. I don't really know why the local government still approves it. I mean they still allow the developers to continue damaging the walls. Starbucks for instance violated some rules. Try to visit the place then try to observe, I'm sure you'll know what I'm talking about. ;)

vampy: entrance is 250 before midnight & 300 midnight onwards. it entitles you to a beer..w/c i must say is very good! :yum: it's called Kampai & i like it coz it doesn't taste too much like alcohol :) it's my favorite :cool: sorry dunno bout the food :angel: by the way, my friend told me she heard sa RX there's a singles party on Feb.16! I REALLY WANNA GO..SANA PAYAGAN AKO!
