How true ba itong nabalitaan naming imbyerna si Annabelle Rama dahil tinapatan ng GMA-7 ang showing ng For the First Time nina Richard Gutierrez at KC Concepcion?

Ang sinasabing ipinantapat ng Siyete ay ang birthday concert nina Dingdong Dantes at Marian Rivera sa Araneta Coliseum sa ganoon ding petsa kung saan free admission pa ito.

Kalokah, ‘di ba?

Ilang beses na rin naming nariring na pina-plug ang birthday concert na ito kaya pati kami ay napaisip kung bakit tila napa-huli yata ang date ng concert gayung bandang first week of August naman ang kaarawan ni Dingdong?

Napag-alaman din naming August 12 ang birthday ni Marian.

Well, malamang sasabihin ng mga in-charge rito ay wala silang mahanap na date for the show, pero parang ang labo pa rin, ‘di ba?

Sa tingin namin, may dahilan namang mag-emote at uminit ang ulo ni Tita Annabelle. O ‘di ba?

Buti sana kung hindi talent ng Siyete si Richard. Sana ay binigyan naman nila ng kunsiderasyon ang binata, tutal mas nakilala si Richard sa bakuran ng Siyete.

Ayon pa sa balita, sa kabila ng lahat ay nananatiling cool ang aktor at confident pa rin umano ito.

Oo naman, with all the support that he is getting from ABS-CBN and his fa-mily at ‘yung iba niyang mga kaibigan, walang dapat ipag-alala si Chard.

Ang tanong, matapos ang lahat, tuluyan na kayang maging Kapamilya si Richard? Ito kaya ang maging dahilan para hindi na siya maging Kapuso?

I hope not. It would be a big blow to his career and the career of the leading men in ABS. I don't see what's wrong with the competition between him and Dingdong. Anabelle needs to realize that her son can't always be #1. Dingdong's the only guy who can keep up with Richard, well maybe Dennis can. But if Richard moves, he's up against a lot more leading actors: Piolo, Sam, John Lloyd.

Only ABS is getting the better end of the deal. I hope Anabelle is smart enough to see that. :bop:

I hope Richard would learn from Angel's mistake. Don't move to ABS... mamamatay lang ang career niya. HE would play second fiddle to all the other leading men in ABS. AT least sa GMA, priority siya and all of Annabelle's alaga.

Look at what ABS did w/ Juday when she had that movie, even when she campaigned for FPJ ... and to think that Juday has been w/ ABS forever. Mas below the belt ang tactics ng ABS.

In fairness naman sa GMA mas nauna nilang na i plug ang date ng concert nila dingdong and marianne kesa sa pag plug ng date ng premiere ng movie kc-richard...so sa tingin hindi sinasadya ng GMA yon at hindi nga ba puro mga sikat naman mga magulat ng both sides so bakit sila matatakot kay marianne? ahahaha baka nga naman languyin ni dyesebel ang opening gross profit ng movi kc-rich... speaking of paglipat ni richard sa ABS...ahahaha natatawa na lang ako sa dami ng mas matitpunong at mas nagwagwapuhang artista sa abs.. at mas magaling pang umarte....anyway pasalamat pa rin sila sa GMA kung d sa mga kinita nila sa GMA d sila makakapag tayo ng bonggang bonggang bahay!! be gratefull pa nga dapat ang mag ibnang yan sa GMA na kahit walang ka KK tong si richard ginagawa pa rin nila ng praan para magkaroong ng mga teleseryes niya at kung ano amo pa hahahahah

Let's accept it may halong pananabotahe ang ginagawa ng GMA7 sa FTFT nila ni KC & Richard...They are the one convincing Star Cinema to do a movie with them yet they are acting very UNPROFESSIONAL! i think richard's name is big enough kung lumipat man siya or hindi. i don't think angel's popularity has diminished. stable lang. maingat ang abs sa pagbibigay ng project na nakita naman sa lobo. hindi nila bibigyan si angel ng project na basura. hindi rin kelangan visible si angel parati kasi pagsasawaan. tama lang.

kanina sa ASAP, kahit na kay KC at Richard ang attention, nagkaroon pa rin ng spotlight si angel at masasabing alagang-alaga nga siya.

aside from the KC-richard tandem, ok ang ANGEL-richard at anne-richard ah. kung lumipat si richard sa abs, mas mahahasa siya sa aktingan. he can be paired with competent actresses. as i've said, angel, anne and KC are on abs, as well as bea.

i don't think mapapabayaan si richard sa abs because it's the other way around. kokonti lang ang male stars nila na masasabing may hatak. ang talagang popular ay sila piolo, JLC at sam. it would be nice to add richard dahil mas magiimprove siya. he's really good in comedy, pero mahina siya sa drama. like angel, mas mahahasa si richard kung pinagiisipan mabuti ang mga projects niya.

like angel, it's richard's prerogative kung lilipat siya or hindi.

He is of the same level with Judy Anne & Claudine....ABS-CBN young ladies have only JLC & Sam Milby...So Richard really has a space sa ABS-CBN! ako i don't mind..medyo kulang kulang na rin ang mga leading men ng abs cbn..richard g may not be a best actor pero iba ang hatak nya sa screen..what if kung bigyan pa sya ng series na hindi action series..i prefer his character roles in the movies than on tv..if he was given a romantic comedy drama series, i would surely watch it..at malay natin gumaling pa si richard umarte..

They find whats good in a person and capitalize on that and whatever they are lacking they are always learning. Thats what GMA hasnt been able to really get down.

Angel and Richard kind of turned into a superstar without a plan. It seems like they got lucky with Mulawin having been a hit and after that sinunod-sunod na sila with projects having to do with superpowers and fantasy, meanwhile hindi mashadong na train yung overall personality and character as an actor/artist.

Whereas kung ABS talent ka you will be challenged into the whole multimedia deal. Gusto mong nag host, develop your communication and speech skills, sing - you can train and even record with star records, sa acting consistent ang training, to become high paying succesful endorsers - yung personality mo dapat carefully maintained. Parang each step is part of a plan to be a complete star that will lasts when all the fads (asian-style, fantaserye,action,remake) are all loge gone. so each appearance, each project-shows-movies-recordings-conserts,etc, is always well considered and thought of for the long term.

not like GMA whos approach seems to be strike while the iron is hot. Capitalize on who is hot for the moment and keep doing that. Richard G. has been stuck doing roles with fantasy and superhero elements with only the leading ladies changing so the plot and the acting stays the same. Also with Marian now shes been recreating roles that have been part of pop culture even before she was an actor (marimar and dyesebel). compare this to the range of roles and characters that Anne, Bea, and John Lloyd have been doing from Fantasy (Kampanerang Kuba) to heavy drama ( Maging sino ka man) and now Bea and JL are doing comedy (Betty la fea)

i think its simple, ABS offers a complete Star guide and training - from acting (comedy-drama) hosting, dancing, fashion, style, speech, communication with others. Kumbaga they've mastered the art in molding superstars.

They find whats good in a person and capitalize on that and whatever they are lacking they are always learning. Thats what GMA hasnt been able to really get down.

Angel and Richard kind of turned into a superstar without a plan. It seems like they got lucky with Mulawin having been a hit and after that sinunod-sunod na sila with projects having to do with superpowers and fantasy, meanwhile hindi mashadong na train yung overall personality and character as an actor/artist.

Whereas kung ABS talent ka you will be challenged into the whole multimedia deal. Gusto mong nag host, develop your communication and speech skills, sing - you can train and even record with star records, sa acting consistent ang training, to become high paying succesful endorsers - yung personality mo dapat carefully maintained. Parang each step is part of a plan to be a complete star that will lasts when all the fads (asian-style, fantaserye,action,remake) are all loge gone. so each appearance, each project-shows-movies-recordings-conserts,etc, is always well considered and thought of for the long term.

not like GMA whos approach seems to be strike while the iron is hot. Capitalize on who is hot for the moment and keep doing that. Richard G. has been stuck doing roles with fantasy and superhero elements with only the leading ladies changing so the plot and the acting stays the same. But ABS is offering to promote her movie but she didn't like it and she chooses GMA to promote kasi nagtampo siya.. Angel Locsin was the topic of TV patrol showbiz section for weeks just before and during her transfer. Now she's practically under the radar, she's only newsworthy now because she's going out w/ Luis. I don't hear her doing projects. Not to mention Gabby (who's only benefiting from KC's entry to showbiz)... and KC (who's benefiting coz she's Sharon's daughter. ).

GMA probably does the same thing. It's not an exception to one station.

But let's face it, Richard G. and Annabelle Rama has a lot of pull with GMA. He should be thankful about that. IF GMA is making a lot of money off of Richard, then so is Annabelle. She also benefits w/ her other alaga's. Package deal silang lahat w/ Richard over at GMA. I don't think ABS would give her that power nor curtsy.

As for that comment about ABS paying well... that's a lot of B.S. ABS isn't making a lot of money... that's why they laid off a lot of news reporters a while back. They have a lot of artists on their payroll and they don't utilize them well. Their cheques take a long time to clear (I know this from a friend who does free lance work for them). Probably the well paid talents there are Kris A. and Sharon, because they can't afford to loose these 2.

Bottom line, Richard isn't the greatest actor in the philippines. But naaawa din ako with the guy because he seems pretty hard working and thus, deserves the success. Moving to ABS would stall his career bigtime.

I think this is just additional promotion for the movie. Hey, were talking about them right?!

I believe talagang hurt lang si Annabelle (and Sharon, for that matter) and disappointed cuz it really smells like sabotage that the FREE concert is Kasabay pa talaga on a and about the venue, there are other major venues.

If you really think about it, if you want to support your talent and the movie (kasi yung next naman is under GMA films) there are many ways to avoid the date and time as the movies premiere. They can totally change it if they wanted.

The thing is did they plan it to be on the same night or was it just a huge logistical coincedence? smells fishy right.

But i doubt after the movie, life will go on for Richard in GMA doing his fantasy/superhero shows.

ABS doesnt need him and he doesnt need ABS.

well i beg to differ, i used to work for this company and some of our customers were kmart, walmart, etc and they paid on time.

ie. they made use of their 2%net60 terms.

i'm not comparing walmart kmart to ABS or GMA, simply proving a point that SOME companies do pay in time.

Alam nyo... it's a 3-hour concert !!! I don't understand how it can go against a movie that will run for 2-3 weeks. IF the concert was on the same night as the movie premier, then they can accuse GMA of stealing the spotlight. Why so insecure naman? I think Richard can carry the movie anyway.

As for the comment above on Juday re-signing w/ ABS... well... maybe the ABS execs were able to appease Judy Ann and MAYBE she's not an "ingrata"... after all, at the end of the day, may ginawa pa din an ABS for her before. She showed she has a big heart to forgive them for what they did. But in my book, talaga binastos siya nun... kasi not even one promo at ABS for her movies. Kaya may tagong galit pa siguro si Alfie. :P

Btw... why am I commenting about this issue??
1. Because ABS execs are too SMUG ... mayayabang sila. Yes, they have contributed to Filipino entertainment, but it's not just them, GMA and other film makers contributed also. Healthy competition is good for the industry. ABS is not the Lord over Filipino cinema.
2. ABS is being a hypocrite because they did the same thing to Judy Ann. And I'm sure they'ld do it again to any other person in a minute.
3. A little publicity for a movie is expected. Pero medyo exag na si Annabelle, baka ma-affect talaga ang career ni Richard. As I've commented earlier, Richard may not be the greatest Filipino actor, but he's hardworking and deserves his success. Sayang naman if it all goes down the drain because of this.
4. Hindi t***a ang GMA execs... the success and review of this movie will reflect on their talent (Richard)... and bring more audience to the next KC-Richard GMA movie. They will not sabotage this on purpose.

The issue between Star Cinema & Juday is not comparable to what GMA is doing to FTFT! Last June 2007 pa lang nauna na ang Star Cinema sa pagkuha ng airing date na yun ng movie nila....and SC even offerred to promote JAs movie....

Whereas in the case of GMA...it was GMA who approached and sent feelers to Star Cinema for a collaboration to lessen the so-called NETWORK WAR...Star Cinema agreed for their love of KC as ABS-CBN baby....then, GMA already know the playing date of FTFT before pa....NOW, bakit nila tinapatan? The two publicly said via a taped episode of the "Sharon" show that they felt bad when GMA-7 allowed the birthday celebration of their big love team Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes to be held at Araneta Coliseum this coming August 27, Wednesday, the same day for the regular showing of Gutierrez and KC’s first film together titled "For The First Time."

In the episode, Rama said: “Hindi ako nagagalit. Pero ngayon kasi, parang imposible namang Wednesday, Araneta, Wednesday? Tapos, ano ba iyon? The same date… eh tapos na yung birthday nung dalawa (Dantes and Rivera). Bakit hindi na lang sa 12, 13, 14, 15, 16? Bakit kailangang sa 27?...Magtulungan na lang, di ba?”

Rama who is known for being protective when it comes to her children also said that she’s thankful to Kapamilya network for welcoming Gutierrez as guest artist for its movie outfit Star Cinema.

The actress said that she’s really happy that ABS-CBN gives its full support for the first movie of Gutierrez under Star Cinema.

“Naramdaman ko talaga at nakikita ko talaga ang support ng Star Cinema sa kanya kaya natutuwa talaga ako at nagpapasalamat ako sa lahat ng bumubuo ng Star Cinema.”

Rama is the wife of 1960’s matinee idol Eddie Gutierrez.
