besides the hype .... good construction... limited run... the artists they get to design the shirts (besides the box tee) are very cutting edge like terry and larry clark and graf artists with street cred.. and yeah the brand has street cred too which is impt in street fashion

No offense Ian, I play ball as well, althou not very good. But these are just not fit for playing ball. The soles are from Jordan 13 which is a model that was released 10 years ago, the traction wouldn't be same as say AZK3 or Hyperdunks. It doesn't even have Zoom Air and seems a bit heavy(I assume you play guard/forward positions). And from my experience, the quality of retro Jordans are pretty shoddy. I played in retro IVs a few times and my heel hurt abit plus I got calluses after.

Then again that is your want, I just wanted to share my opinion on it :)

yeah me too, playing ball but not PBA nor PBL good. Yes i do play forward position. IMO other Jordans are timeless but not really a big fan though. I had the 8, 11, 14 and got good memories of it. Currently using the black 23s and its ok (although it has narrow fore-foot and i have wide feet)
