i don't think UP-CAMP accepts second coursers for PT.
as i remember it right, PT is a limited slot course, wherein you have to pass UPCAT and be in the top 60 (of those UPCAT passers who marked PT as their first choice of course in UP) to get in...
during our time, you can shift out from taking PT once you are in, but they never accept shifters from other courses either you are from UP or other universities.. though i don't know the policies now (since it was umm 4 to 5 years ago..:))

wonwon is right. UP-CAMP does not accept transfer or second-courser students. And, wonwon, it's now just the top 40 PT applicants instead of the top 60, which was probably the case during your time.

really, just 40? probably there is a trend of decreasing applicants/enrollees because of the ff reasons:
1. more h.s students would prefer nursing in UP (as i've said from my previous post, bandwagon phenomenon)
2. less job opportunities locally for PTs after they graduate (most Pt graduates i knoe either work as call center agents, med reps or just establish own businesses unrelated to thei course)
3. for recent graduates (im not sure if graduates after 2003) it's harder to work in the US, more requirements needed; i think they have to get masters degree in PT??? or doctorate degrees?? i'm not quite sure (most of my colleagues here, incoming new PTs in the hospital have doctorate in PT)

Actually, there was no declined (or even a sign of it) in terms of number of UP PT grads hired by US hospitals. (The number did not grow either.) In other words, UP-Manila continues to be the leading producers of PTs to the US (in proportion to number of graduates) despite the big hiring declined being experienced at other local PT schools.
