I love sharing clothes and shoes with my mother! Especially the SHOES! Her sandals and boots are tops! :D

Anyone else out there who snag cool outfits from their parents?

No...yung mga t-shirt ko kasi magmumukhang pantulog sa kanila...saka *** mga shorts ko magmumukhang pantalon pag sinuot nila yung mga yun!! On the other hand, i ilkie to borrow neckties from my dad pag kailangan mag business attire sa school.

clothes? hmm sorta...but not really..she can be too annie hall-ish or katherine hepburn-ish for my own taste..not that it's baduy ha..di ko lang trip. i borrow her shoes tho whenever i'm home coz she's a shoe addict..hehehe all the manolos and jimmy choos too choose from ;) i also love her collection of bags. my grandmother is also a great source of vintage stuff. i had to beg for her 'bayong' type original guccis from the 60's(or is it the 70's)...it's so uso now in new york..really cool :)

Ako...I literally rob my father of his clothes. He's a contract worker abroad, and everytime he goes back home every 6 mos. or so, I rummage through his 'pasalubong' and take whatever clothes he bought while he was outside the country- if I liked it.
Unluckily though, I could only take the polos and t shirts because very few of his pants fit me- you see, my father is shorter and stouter than me, so his pants look baggy and hip-hoppy on me..:D
I hate baggy stuff. :bleh:
I also don't like shopping for my own clothes- yeah, I like malling and stuff, but only to eat, watch movies and buy books...but buy clothes????? :angry:
So..yun, it also doesn't work if my parents offer to accompany me to the mall and buy me clothes because by then, either I'd be too embarrased to pick anything...or I'd still be embarrased. :lol:

i sure do. sometimes my mom borrows clothes from me and my sisters. we're both the same height (okay, i'm taller than her by an inch) and almost the same body size. then t-shirts sa tatay ko...pangtulog nga lang...ang laki ng size ng shirt niya kasi.

i used to wear my Dad's retro shirts. i looked for it of course. And i used to wear my Dad's jeans during those Hip Hop days. That was like 1993! :D i was just in 1st yr HS!

i used to...when i was her size. i loved my mom's tops! too bad she's 5 sizes larger than i am now. but when it comes to shoes i usually borrow her girlygirly open toed sandals or her boots :D (thank God we have the same shoe size...a size 9!)

My dad borrows some of my perfumes. When i was about 15 i used to borrow some of his stuff...but now i'am bigger than he is.

i used to hate my mom's fashion sense...:silly:coz she used to make me change my clothes when i wanted to wear what everyone else was wearing[remember the baggy pants days...and those grunge years...-yeah, she hated it!] but then i grew up and whenever i can't find anything to wear coz i've worn everything else i have of my own, i go thru her closet...!!:Dshe used to hate it coz i never return her stuff and sometimes they start ending up in my closet...well, now she wears some of my stuff...which i kind of hate coz she stretches them out...! yeah we kind of have a full size difference...so sharing clothes doesn't work out too well...but ha! i raid her closet for shoes and bags!!! i've been doing that for as long as i can remember...hehehe:lol: yeah now we pretty much have the same fashion sense and i really appreciate it coz she taught me how to shop wisely;)but i think it's so cool that she gets me stuff every so often and i don't have to spend my own money to buy stuff...hahaha...

when i was in high school, grabe i would always raid my mom's closet... masyado kasing fashion minded mom ko eh... sometimes i see her wearing it even before the style becomes a trend... yup you can say my mom is a trend setter... :)we've been apart for almost ten years now... <out of topic... i wish i was back home... :( *sniff*> so pag nag vivisit ako she borrows some of my clothes... or ill buy a pair .. she'll wear it the same time i would when we go places... people think we're sisters... cool huh?! though i hate to admit it but people think i look older... :( pero okey lang mommy ko eh... :) from my dad naman... not really kasi hes much bigger than I am and am not really in too that baggy clothes.

Nahhh. My parents are too conservative (as in puro khakis, business suits, polo shirts, etc.) and I prefer attention-getting outfits. :)

my dad likes to wear loose shirts and baggy jeans, and i practically wear the same type of clothes. sometimes i get shirts from his closet. :crazy: ok lang yun, hip naman dad ko e.

i love borrowing my mom's clothes kasi she has great taste although some of them are too daring for my taste. Grabe! ang hilig ng mom ko sa mga halter, sleeveless, skirts at short shorts. minsan ako nga yung nag-didisapprove sa mga suot nya eh.

she also likes borrowing my stuff, lalo na yung mga fit kong shirts. once, she borrowed this new gray fit shirt (she's two sizes larger) and she stretched it kaya di na fit sa akin ngayon. oh well.

my mom also collects shoes, andami nyang pretty shoes. unfortunately, she's a size 6 and at 7.5 (i'm the family bigfoot), so i can't.

i also love wearing my dad's oversized shirts and jackets.
