what do guys think about ballet flats???

almost every girl owns a pair or two of ballet flats. ive always found them to be cute, comfy, and trendy! i wear these to wherever - to school, to the malls, etc. the other day one of my guy friends made a comment about ballet flats being ugly and a turnoff to guys!!! i was really surprised to hear this. he said most guys share the same sentiment. guys, is this true??? im curious lang talaga!

ballet shoes are a better alternative to flipflops...and it is the ultimate staple in every girl's closet. why would guys hate it? i don't have any guy friends who are against it naman. baka you're friend is just jealous that he can't wear something as comfy hehe. :p

Yup my guy friends think so too..
nandidiri sila sa ballet flats.. though I must admit theyre very comfy

my guy friends prefer those who are wearing high heels and stillettos..
palibhasa kasi hindi sila yung nagsusuot!

I love ballet flats! I've lots of them. And since I love green, I have 4 pairs of green ballet flats. Haha!

They're really cute and looks great with jeans. I prefer wearing ballet flats than flip-flops. They look more presentable.

Maybe not all guys share the same sentiment. My guy loves them on me. One thing's for sure, all the girls love it!

I have no real opinion on women's ballet flats, other than them being preferable to flip-flops and crocs. I wonder if they offer enough (arch) support though?

i dont really mind if a girl wears flats/crocs/flip flops nor do i find ballet flats a turnoff. they can wear whatever kind of shoes they feel like wearing, but of course i prefer them to wear open shoes :love:

I'm exactly 5'0 feet tall so I don't feel like wearing one, and I am not confident everytime I'm wearing flats. Most of my shoes have high heels actually almost. I love stilletos.

My hubby also prefers me to wear shoes with heels. Even if it's just an inch or two. Ganda daw kasi tignan sa girl.

Argh...I don't see anything wrong with ballet flats. They're perfectly comfy and cute. Besides I don't wear these shoes for guys to appreciate them...it's all about me me me! :rotflmao:

There is a time for ballet flats and heels. Flats on a stroll in the mall or going to church and heels on a night out. Not the other way around. That's for me though.:naughty:

I also wear flats, but pointed toes usually.. I bought ballet flats once and I didn't like the effect it had on my height.. It shortened me more.. when I'm wearing pointed flats, I don't feel like being shortened as much as wearing ballet flats.. I don't know, maybe it's just me.. or maybe may optical illusion ang pointed flats? hehe..

^ i think pointed flats give the illusion of longer legs! i sometimes wear pointed flats for going out because they are a lot more dressier than ballet flats and a hell of a lot more comfortable than heels!

anyway, my other guy friend who is quite fashion-conscious said that he likes the look of ballet flats but of course he'd rather see a girl in heels cos' its sexier. he said that my guy friend who said that ballet flats are ugly probably doesn't know a thing about fashion!
