In Filipino context, we used to say or apply the term Undergrad to person who was not able to complete or finish his formal education in college. But come to think of it, we can also say that if a person was able to finish his course in college, we can also rightly assume that he is still an undergrad? kasi all the courses being offered in tertiary level is said to be undergraduate courses. are'nt they? .unless you take up further studies in a graduate school?

Undergraduate degrees are the first degrees most students earn from an education of higher learning. In this country, the bachelor's degree is the most common undergraduate degree awarded.

Undergraduate studies refer to the programs of studies most students go through to earn an undergraduate degree.
