Let's face it, there are now a gazillion teens/teen groups around. They're now a dime a dozen. This phenomenon started about two years ago. Sure, some have talent. But it kinda gets to you when all you see and listen to these days are these "kids?". It's not a knock on them, specially for those who are really talented.
It's just that somehow, sometime people will tire of this phenomenon(?). Do you think it will continue into the next millennium? :)
(on second thought, if no new teen musicians come about, then the present crop of young stars will grow up and will be "mature" stars tomorrow.)

I think they'll be here to stay. Most of them have the talent... they just have to learn how to adapt to the constantly changing music scene.

Tingin ko magiging pabata ng pabata ang mga artists of the future. Those topping the charts would be in their early teens. Girls would have the bodies of 20 year olds. Ugh ... can you imagine 10 year olds with big breasts? Eeeww ..

......................THE TEEN PHENOMENON DIDN'T START 2 YRS AGO. IT HAS BEEN A PART OF THE POP CULTURE TO HAVE TEEN SINGERS AND MATINEE IDOLS. EVEN IN THE EARLY DAYS, TEEN STARS ALREADY RULED THE CHARTS. FROM RICHIE VALENCE, (AND EVEN WAY BEFORE HIM) TO THE JACKSON 5, TO THE BEATLES TO THE NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCKS TO NSYNC. TEEN SENSATIONS HAVE BEEN AROUND FOR A VERY LONG TIME AND WILL STILL CONTINUE TO DO SO NEXT YEAR OR THE NEXT MILLENIUM. IF THE HUMAN RACE STILL EXISTS.
