Civil Disobedience

just thought about this while watching gma's interview on tv, why hasn't anyone thought about lobbying representatives in government for the *abolition of ROTC* (http://www.pinoyexchange.com/forums/showthread.php3?threadid=20291)? this is a very opportune time for all of us who think that now is the time to get rid of ROTC once and for all. are there already (student) groups pushing for this particular issue that i am not yet aware of or are there already some people out there who are planning on taking some form of action? include me in your contact list if there are already plans like this that is already at work... we can coordinate (i'm from cebu doctors' college by the way, i may be able to contribute a little), i can try garnering the support of students from my school if the support of a signature campaign is necessary, etc., i am sure we can win the support of an astonishing number of college and high school students all over the country if there will be effective coordination among us. we have always kept to ourselves our objections regarding ROTC, now is the time to speak and persist as a majority...
