Hi all.
It's been awhile since I actually posted here so I'm back to being a virtual newbie in PEx.
I was approached by an organization called the International Institute for Film and the Arts about the possibility of conducting a Basic BROADCASTING workshop for their group.
The tentative dates are on June 4-6 at the Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) bldg., San Miguel Ave., Ortigas Center, Pasig City. This is in line with their calendar of events which includes a TV COMMERCIAL DIRECTORIAL WORKSHOP slated for May 19-29.
Although I know that the aforementioned activity above is cutting close schedule-wise, the broadcasting seminar might not.
I am also aware that the ABS-CBN deadline for new sportscasters is on May 16, but remember that the PBA rights are still up in the air and there may be more opportunities in the very near future.
I just wanna know WHO'S INTERESTED?
Since this will be a general broadcasting workshop, sports will be just take up a small portion. However, being a sportscaster is also being a broadcaster, hence, this may be of even bigger help to y'all.
Fee is TENTATIVELY set at PhP 6,000 inclusive of everything (meals, materials, etc.). This fee could go up or down, depending on organizers.

I have about two weeks to see if there's gonna be a quorum of at least 24 students.
