It's already out. It's posted at the Malcolm Hall in U.P. Diliman.
Anybody here who has gone through the interview phase? Share naman your experiences (e.g. questions asked). What's it like?

to shaft,

there are two batches per day, morning and afternoon. i was, i think, the morning batch's third or fourth to be interviewed. when i entered the room, they were all staring at me, observing my every gesture. but the catch is this: there will be pro-shafts and anti-shafts in the panel. some will pound you to the ground like hell, some will help you get up.

the panel will talk about anything under the sun. from your outfit to some of the nation's pressing issues. you just have to be truthful and sincere. some members of the panel will convince you that your position on a specific issue is entirely wrong. and you will be convinced. and after you agree with them, they'll say you cannot be a lawyer because you sway too easily.

to prevent such concerns, think before you talk. be witty.

don't be intimidated. if you get intimidated, the anti-shafts win.

avoid the words "yeah," "gonna," and other corrupted terminologies.

outside the room (before your interview), volunteer LAW students will help you overcome your fear.

good luck.

many thanks! you more than answered my questions, with matching tips pa. thanks again.

i have some more questions, follow ups to the ones you posted...is there a required dress code? also, are you in U.P. Law now (I know this is personal so you really don't have to answer this :p)?

shaft,

if you're a guy, formal dress code but not so striking. long sleeves and tie. if you're a gal, do not wear super mini skirts. corporate attire is advisable.

to your other question, let's assume that we'll be seeing each other...

To the iron-clad devil

Just got my letter. I didn't know the interview lasts THAT long! I'm scheduled for the afternoon batch. Baka ok yan antok na sila after lunch :D.

I'm not sure but do they ask about your financial situation even if not directly? Example, they might ask how I got there (Public utility vehicles or Private car) or some other questions like that.

shaft,

the three hours will be divided among five interviewees. but if you are witty enough, they will not keep you long.

just be brave. good luck.

Am preparing to apply to two law schools - Ateneo and UP - have heard about pros and cons but I would want to know the curriculum or syllabus in each school. Like how many units do I have to take every semester, because I've heard in Ateneo its a bit heavier since they want students to study full time. So does that mean 18 units?

Can people send me a copy of the syllabus or curriculum? Thanks.
