Does the appearance and presence of the school body( students, teacher..etc) affects the players on the game?
If so, how?

It's best that they (the players) answer this question. They are the one's who could give you the best answer. :)

The crowd (students, alumni, faculty and other supporters) is considered as the 6th man of the team. They can rejoice and root for their team while jeering the opponents. It's a factor but it also depends upon the standing of the team. ;)

Syempre may effect yun. Isipin mo yung Utah Jazz sa NBA, bakit best winning record sila if they are at home this season? KAsi may full support galing sa fans. Malaking tulong yun.*okay*

Meron siyang effect... pero psych lang...
If the players are well-conditioned in handling pressure, the opponents crowd will have less or no effect to them at all...

It gives the players the support they need, their adrenaline will be rushing. They will give them an inspiration knowing they have more crowd support than opposing teams...The louder the crowd cheering for the team will have an advantage..and it also added an intimidation on the referees..they will be very careful that the crowd will not go after them if they made a very close calls.....that's also the reason why most home teams played better than a visiting teams no matter what the standing is....

Pang-adrenaline rush lang yang crowd support. Nasa performance pa din yan ng players at execution ng game plan. Kahit isang libong beses pa kayong magtitili, kung maganda ang execution ng team nyo o ng kalaban, they will still get the high-percentage shot.

Yup. i agree to that.
Malaking factor din ang crowd support. But still, it will depends upon tram's execution, kung puro cheer lang...wala lang din. That's why i admire the Letran Knights even though im an alumnus of Letran. Talagang ibang iba noong panahon ng Letran during 80's. Nakalagay pa sa dyaryo nun, "Letran talo sa basketball pero panalo sa suntukan." Although im not encouraging this practice, iba pa rin agn support. Kumbaga, manalo o matlo, Letranista tayo! ( hindi pa kasama dun ang mga cheers ng mga letranista. Kahit *** walang pumapalag kahit itanong mo pa kung *** man alumni yan from other schools.
ARRIBA LETRAN!

Crowd factor is kinda like the weather, your team's momentum is like the cloud, blocking the sun and its raining treys or fastbreaks. The crowd becomes the wind and rain that sustains the team's run or breakaway. That's why coaches have to call timeout if their opponents are making a run.
The crowd can also be hostile and may disrupt the games or momentums built upon skill basketball. That's how Ginebra's "baranggay" came to be what it was in the Jaworski Era. Coins and bottles flying, booing opponents and jeering the referees. That is the typhoon version of the 6th man.
And like the weather, the 6th man may also be a non-factor if you know that your team is not doing good in the skills department and so you see a dry spell and you hope for a little raincloud to hover the team but falls short of damping the battleground. Alas, we play in covered courts!

Kahit ngayon nga kinatatakutan parin ang "dagundong" ng cheer ng fans ng Baranggay eh. Parang Bass daw.
