Hindi na rumor yan .... it's TRUE kasi nakikita ko nga itong dlawang ito sa campus ngayon summer semester.This guys go by the surname of GUINTO and TOMACRUZ ,nakita ko sa mga jersey nila nung nag practice sila minsan,malalaki *** 6"7 and 6"8 at may katawan din ,may moves then *** sa post pero klangan pa improve shooting nila.Base yun sa npanood ko sa practice.

I'm just wondering kung bkit hndi *** pinalalaro sa mga preseason tournaments.

Despite having 2 new (who seem to be dominant) big men, the ALTAS still lack talented perimeter players (guards and wingmen)...

They dont have players with the firepower of a
Sean Co, Ogie Menor or RJ Jazul
the athleticism of a
Jim Viray or Rey Guevarra
or the basketball IQ of a
Mark Cagoco, Pong Escobal or Kelvin DelaPena

what do they have? Sang Myeon Lee and Michael Johnson Kon???

Coach Cristobal, God Bless him, has a scrub team. His players can't handle the ball, can't do decent post plays, can't play defense, can't do anything.

The Altas were struggling, they were mired, "MIRED", in complete disgust. Their own supporters, fans, patrons (whatever you call them) know their team will end up in mediocrity everytime their players are on the floor coz they couldn't get it done.

No disrespect to Antonio L Tamayo (owner of UPHDS, hence ALTAS), what so ever, but i'm sorry to tell everybody the truth but his team doesn't have enough TALENT to play the game of basketball in the NCAA.

Altas is not all Kong & Lee meron din guys who can play like: Dysam ,Reyes Galabin & Mojado. You can't judge these guys by the way they play last season or this pre season.

Let us not forget that Sang Myeon Lee is also an import. I think Michael Kong is a Filipino, although if he isnt, the ALTAS will register 3 imports, a big NO from ManCom's recently added rules. NCAA teams can only field two foriegn players and can only play one foriegn player at a time during basketball games.

I don't think any of those players can match a
RJ Jazul, Marco Cagoco, Pong Escobal, Rey Guevarra, Ogie Menor, a Sean Co or a Kelvin Dela Pena....

Also, you claim that I can't judge the ALTAS performance.
Now, HOW IN HELL'S NAME AM I SUPPOSE TO ANALYZE (or by the way you put it "judge") THE ALTAS TEAM IF I CAN'T USE THEIR PERFORMACE LAST SEASON 83 AND DURING THE OFF SEASON TOURNEYS? Its practically the only basis we can use.

But of course, the addition of your two new players is a different story.
Now, you have two new players who seem to be dominant. Two new players who can hopefully make the Altas into a playoff contetion team. Well good for you, good for the entire UPHDS community and good for the entire NCAA league as well.

The city of Las Pinas, lead by the faculty, alumni and studentry of UPHDS should be celebrating, throw a parade along Alabang-Zapote rd. already, wheter you win a championship or not. You now have two players, who could atleast, release you from the mediocrity of your team that played in Season 83.

Can you point out the thread in gameface where you took your info? Regular gamefacers like me do not know of any such info coming from that portal.

Someone there had commented that he could not find any posts there in gameface from which you obtained your rumor.

I believe Kong is a Fil-Chinese. Kong as a surname is normal among Chinese residing in the Philippines. And as far as being a Chinese is concerned, parang sila TY ****, Kish Co or Joseph Yeo lang yan so there should be no problem. Correct me if I am mistaken, though.:bop:

the 2 new big men of the altas have to prove themselves first if they can really play in the NCAA. they have to prove their worth and earn the respect of their fellow players in the league. Ekwe has done that. and speaking of big men, i think height is not enough, one must have the skills also. in SBC's team B 2 seasons ago. they have a lot of big men( 1-6'7 2-6'6 1-6'5) but due to the talent laden in its team A these players didnt have the chance to show their stuff in the NCAA. watch out for Kevin Emeka Udo. Tinatago pa ni frankie Lim ang laro niya. at 6'7 he plays better than Ekwe and a scorer. love to Dunk and loves to run. The RL team is much stronger than now even with aljamal last season. jake pascual also.

I agree, I think Udo will be a better player than Ekwe. From the way I saw him play against Adamson, mukha ngang may tinatago pa sya, he seems to be stronger than Sam, moves quicker, holds the ball better, jumps higher. Mas masipag lang sa tingin ko si Sam pagdating sa court, but the good thing about Udo, he can play 5yrs for the RL

I think there is no mistake about the nationalities of the two alleged players in this thread. We all of know about the nationalities of last year's foreign players from Perpetual, so the threadstarter could not have made a mistake.
