A CHILD WITHIN OUR HEARTS

If only I could bring back
All those memories in my life
Simple but happy ones
Those oh precious times.

Simple things that makes me smile
The small gifts and surprises
Little gestures full of love
Fill my heart with delight.

But as time goes by
As we stand and grow older
More difficulties abound
More expectations from around.

Friends may come and go
Love will have time to let go
All our ups and downs
Make life go round and round.

Still lookin' for the right path
With different goals in life.
It's gonna take some time
To reach the finish line.

But if we can only reach out
And touch each other's hearts
We will always find
A child within our hearts.
