as far as Letran Knights is concerned, no.

our team was in a rebuilding phase last season and no one was expecting us to make it to the F4.But still, we gave them their first loss.

For this coming NCAA season, it will be a totally different ballgame for the kBights. Much of the core are now veterans and Alas is a good tactician and motivator.

so, who knows? alam mo naman ang Knights magaling mang-gulat!

to answer the question sir jmmdg, I think teams around are spending more of their time doing "stealth mode" upgrade sa team nila. I think these teams are much more motivated and serious in bringing down San Beda which makes this coming season really unpredictable IMO.

It's nice to see teams really stepping up, slowly reaching and grabbing the bar set by the better teams...

No teams will be contended for 2nd place, no matter what the other teams does, MOST ESPECIALLY SAN BEDA...new season 0-0...All teams have their own goals...We better stop thinking about San Beda with all the hype attached to them...come second round and we then talk about this.....Letran for instance has a power house veteran team, ditto with JRU and also Mapua with nucleus of new big men in their line up....in papers..San Beda is the most power house team..will they live up to that?..we'll see .....my suggestions?..leave all comments about San Beda until the season starts...

I have watched several off-season games by the Knights' TEAM B and at times, a mix of Team A and Team B players. I think I saw two or three players with real potential in cracking your Team A. Mga diamonds in the rough. I don't know their names though. There's one who reminded me of JC Intal because of his slashing moves.

I'm pretty sure Letran will be in the Final Four this year.

oo nga we need homegrown players pero mas maganda may mga foreign players sa UAAP or NCAA para mahasa yung mga local players natin. mas mahirap kasi kung tayo tayo lang ang maglalaban laban e. mas maganda sa umpisa palang e masanay na tayo makipagbanggan sa malalaki naplayers db. atsaka d rin naman nasusunod yung homegrown players na yan. sa PBA nga unti unti na tayong linalamon ng filam players.

And to think, our team is not that big.So i think what counts is the motivation and the skills of the players.

I don't think that could work. The right term is FOREIGN PLAYER, who happened to be a student of a certain school. He/she just happened to like playing a certain sport, and the school invited him/her to play after he/she enrolled himself/herself to the school.

Of course, it's still the student's choice ultimately where he/she wanted to go to school.
